	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros REP Helper has been a major upgrade from tracking rental activity in a spreadsheet. After my CPA recommended it, I started using the app and quickly saw why it is built specifically for real estate investors who care about REPS and STR documentation. The travel time feature is also extremely valuable. Rental work often involves driving to properties, meeting contractors, checking repairs, handling supplies, and managing property-related tasks. REP Helper makes it easy to capture that time as part of the activity record instead of losing it or trying to recreate it later. The app is also easy to use. Voice-enabled time entry makes it practical to log activities while on the go, and the picture snap feature is simple for attaching receipts or documentation. These features make tracking feel less like administrative work and more like a natural part of managing rental properties. Another strong point is that REP Helper creates a more organized system than spreadsheets. Instead of scattered rows, notes, and manual calculations, the app gives investors a cleaner way to document activity, review progress, and prepare information for their CPA. Cons The main tradeoff is that REP Helper is more structured than a spreadsheet. For investors used to complete flexibility, there may be a small adjustment period. But that structure is also one of the app’s strengths because it helps create cleaner, more consistent records. Another consideration is that the app encourages investors to log activity more regularly. That requires some discipline at first, especially for people who are used to catching up later. However, this is exactly what makes the documentation stronger because the records are created closer to when the work actually happens. Some of the more advanced features, like voice entry, picture snap, travel time, and the REPS test dashboard, may take a little time to fully incorporate into a routine. But once they become part of the workflow, they reduce manual work and make the overall tracking process much easier.
