About

If yes, then consider the HTML Editor your new best friend. Feel empowered with handy tag references, intuitive tools like code completion, website components that update instantly across all pages, live previews, and dozens of other extraordinary tools and features. We implemented end tag highlighting because we got so tired of hunting for that ending div tag </div>. This new feature works for the other tags too, so enjoy! We created bunches of free, 100% responsive templates. The new Template Installer imports these designs into the HTML Editor with just two clicks. Want to learn CSS Grid? Download a template and play with the code. This is how CoffeeCup makes web development fun! The new welcome screen will give your web development a fast take off. Need to make a quick static page? Then click New HTML Page. Do you want to begin with a snazzy responsive Template, start a complex web project, or simply fiddle with some PHP? The web fun all starts right from this new start screen.

About

API is first-class, discoverable, versioned, documented. MessagePack structured communication enables extensions in any language. Remote plugins run as co-processes, safely and asynchronously. GUIs, IDEs, web browsers can, embed Neovim as an editor or script host. Works the same everywhere, one build-type, one command. Modern terminal features such as cursor styling, focus events, bracketed paste. Built-in terminal emulator and strong defaults. Fully compatible with Vim's editing model and Vimscript v1. Start with :help nvim-from-vim if you already use Vim. The current stable release version is 0.5 (RSS). See the roadmap for progress and plans. With 30% less source-code than Vim, the vision of Neovim is to enable new applications without compromising Vim's traditional roles. Lua is built-in, but Vimscript is supported with the most advanced Vimscript engine in the world (featuring an AST-producing parser).

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • In so far as I only need the Html/Php Editor and ability to use FTP ... It is an expensive useless product.
  • HTML Editor helps to design forms, website layouts and email campaign builder. It's a very simple and responsive web editor. It auto-detects any error and helps to edit more efficiently.
  • Live preview of website Code completion feature Built-in Validation Tool - W3C validation FTP upload feature Ready to use themes Available for Windows & mac Free version

Cons

  • #1. I am not able to install the software anywhere else except under "OneDrive" #2. When I do and load a new project to include my local website files... It does not allow me to edit an y of them,.. #3. I cannot connect to my remote Namecheap server Regardless of what I do ... Using the same credentials with FileZilla, and/ or WinScp, or other FTP programs I am more than able to do so... I have tried every conceivable configuration such as FTP, SFTP, Tls Explicit; you name it.. NOTHING works.. #4. I tried Direct FTP, but it only allows to the S-Drive Bottom-Line : CoffeeCup software is Totally Useless ! in so far as connecting and uploading files to a remote server.
  • Overall it's an outstanding HTML editor for the websites.
  • More geared towards advanced users. Free version has limited features.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I used it to develop Java and c++. I loved the speed and flexibility and the fact that no mouse is needed and you can have a very fast and efficient workflow using the keyboard with easy to remember neumonic s (like SF to search files) rather than holding down lots of different modifiers that are hard to remember. The editor is the focus and temporary popups are used for searching for things, call hierarchy, errors etc so you aren't rearranging splitter positions all the time. The errors were shown instantly as I typed and I could even launch my application when while it had compile errors and my refactoring was not finished. Much better than the workflow in intellij for example.

Cons

  • There is some investment time needed to learn it initially but the power and flexibility it gives you is worth it in the end.
