About vFound Equipment is a browser-based equipment checkout and reservation application for schools, universities, libraries, IT desks, offices, hotels and other shared equipment desks. Staff can create equipment records with QR labels, serial numbers, warranty and maintenance details, import inventories from CSV, and reserve a particular item or an available item in a category. Checkout supports individual items and multi-item kits, borrower signatures, due-time rules, limits and overdue blocks. Automatic email reminders help borrowers return equipment, while staff can scan returns, record condition, set damaged items aside for repair and run stock-takes. Borrowers can reserve available items in a category through My vFound and use an optional paired kiosk for self-checkout. The service runs in a web browser and can be used by itself or alongside other vFound products in the same workspace.
