About

MeduzaVPN is a subscription VPN service for individuals and teams. Personal users can connect through dedicated virtual servers and IP addresses, choose available server locations, and manage subscriptions and connection configurations from a web account. Apps are offered for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone, and iPad. Users can share VPN access through invitation links or QR codes and revoke individual configurations. A business workspace adds centralized administration for members, groups, and routing packages. The service is intended for private internet connections and managed team access across supported devices. Personal subscriptions are available monthly and annually, with a seven-day introductory trial for eligible new accounts; a payment method is required and the subscription renews unless canceled. Support and setup guidance are available through the vendor's website.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I like how there's three different settings, or at least the way my uni's configured it, there's three settings. There's the split tunnel, where you use your own internet connection for common things (which is great, because all VPNs result in a little slower internet, and there's no point in slowing down, say, your Google searches), the full tunnel which is needed to access university specific stuff at the library, and then a third, 'restricted' connection which I assume is what researchers use.

Cons

  • Installing it was a little confusing, I guess? It's a slight hassle to input my username and password every time I turn on my computer? There's not much to dislike here.
