About

FuzeVPN is a subscription-based VPN service. Its Windows and Android apps use WireGuard or OpenVPN to route device traffic through a VPN tunnel; its Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Brave extensions protect only the browser in which each extension is installed. A single account supports up to five devices. Plans cost €1 per month or €10 for 12 months paid in a single payment, with the same features. Apps and extensions can be downloaded free, but an active subscription is required to connect. The service offers four VPN exit locations in France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, and supports streaming and P2P traffic through native apps subject to its terms. Windows includes a built-in kill switch; Android users can enable Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN in system settings. FuzeVPN provides setup, troubleshooting, subscription and technical information through its help centre.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I like how there's three different settings, or at least the way my uni's configured it, there's three settings. There's the split tunnel, where you use your own internet connection for common things (which is great, because all VPNs result in a little slower internet, and there's no point in slowing down, say, your Google searches), the full tunnel which is needed to access university specific stuff at the library, and then a third, 'restricted' connection which I assume is what researchers use.

Cons

  • Installing it was a little confusing, I guess? It's a slight hassle to input my username and password every time I turn on my computer? There's not much to dislike here.
