About

FoxyProxy is an advanced browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and other Chromium-based browsers that replaces and vastly extends native proxy settings by letting users create, manage, and switch among multiple proxy server profiles with fine-grained control; it supports automatic switching based on URL patterns (wildcards or regular expressions), individual browser tabs, Firefox containers, or private windows, as well as manual selection via colored icons. Users can define inclusion/exclusion rules, test patterns with a built-in tester, toggle WebRTC to limit IP leakage, and import/export full configurations or just rules for backup or sharing, with optional synchronization across instances via browser sync. The interface includes keyboard shortcuts, visible color/country flag cues per proxy, advanced logging for debugging, which proxy was used when, and quick-add flows to capture new rules.

About

ProxiesThatWork is a proxy service built around one goal: proxies that work. The platform provides instant access to HTTP proxies, with pricing that starts at just $3 for 150 proxies — only $0.02 per IP. All proxies support IP authentication, allowing users to secure and manage access without requiring credentials. No username-password logins are needed; simply authorize your IP and you’re ready to go. ProxiesThatWork offers access to IPs across multiple U.S. cities. Setup is fast and seamless — users receive their proxy list immediately after signup. There are no complex dashboards or onboarding flows to navigate. To ensure reliability, proxies are publicly tested for compatibility against the top 1,000 websites every 5 minutes. These test results are transparently published so users can quickly verify which sites are accessible at any time. ProxiesThatWork is built for simplicity, speed, and practicality — a no-frills proxy solution that works right out of the box.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I’ve been using ProxiesThatWork to track job postings across multiple sites, and it has been very reliable. The proxies are stable and handle frequent requests without getting blocked, which is essential for continuous monitoring. Setup was quick and integration with my tracking tools was seamless. The service is also affordable, making it easy to maintain long-term tracking without breaking the budget.
  • Low pricing and the proxies are still reliable enough for daily developer use. In my tests, they connect well, stay up most of the time, and work for scraping, SEO checks, and automation without too many failures.

Cons

  • Expanded location options for more precise targeting.
  • Since it just launched, there is not much long-term history yet, so bigger teams should still test it under their own load before using it for critical jobs.
