About Forgot is a browser-based team calendar for engineering managers and team leads coordinating planned time off, on-call rotations, project work, public holidays and release dates. Managers can add people and events, organize views by team, office, time zone or custom fields, mark tentative dates, and flag when someone is away during a release or code freeze. Teams can submit availability through a link without creating accounts; read-only calendars can be shared or embedded, and weekly email summaries and weekday Slack posts help keep colleagues informed. Calendar feeds can be subscribed to from Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. The optional Mac menu-bar app shows who is away and supports calendar edits. Forgot is designed for coordination rather than HR leave administration and does not track PTO balances or accruals.
