Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros - Ease of use. - Very fast tech support turnaround. - Ease and ability to customize. - Works well with state contracted programs. - Frequent new features and updates. - Numerous reporting features which support individual staff and support management. AWARDS is an easy to use, comprehensive tool designed for human services organizations. We spent years researching options and carefully considering the move from paper to digital, and finally selected AWARDS. In addition to the program having a wide array of important features (including outcomes reporting), it is affordable, can be easily customized and the customer service and support of the Foothold team is superb! Cons At this point we have no issues with this software. Not the fault of the software, but as we are located in Massachusetts we have specific document requirements that were preset in AWARDS. Our required paperwork limited us slightly in making full use of the AWARDS platform.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Amazing support. I always get my questions answered and they always figure out a way to execute the vision I have for our program. I have to admit, I have been using K* for many years prior to this position. When first introduced to Sunwave, I was not a fan as I was so accustomed to K. The previous EMR's I have used do not come close to either of these systems. I have now used it for several months and am a huge fan. Especially now that I am able to work on the forms to create an ease of the workflow. This is much easier to do in Sunwave than in K**. The functionality is much easier across the board as well. I also appreciate that Sunwave continues to work on not only making things user friendly, but also keeping up with the times and utilizing technologies that are within Sunwave. Great job. This is one of the easiest and most user friendly EMR's I have used to date. They made the set up and implementation easy. Alex was a no pressure salesman who simply put a solution in front of us. Our implementation specialist Heather was amazing and very attentive to our needs and goals as well as our wish list. The reporting capability is the best I have seen in the industry. Every note can be audited easily before executing Billing. Customer support is always available and responsive. I’d just say like I consult for licensing/accreditation and work with several products and Sunwave is by far my favorite bc of user interface, support, and reporting versatility. Cons Sometimes navigating the system is difficult. Once I get the support, it all makes sense. Still getting use to reading the MAR's and would like to see improvements made in this area, but I am adapting. I wanted to integrate some of my other software. The only con here is the cost for the monthly integration of an API. Updating certain fields can impact historical data when running reports. I don't see many negatives with this particular EMR software. It is easy to use and a value add to any organization who utilizes it.
