About

Flutter is Google’s UI toolkit for building beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. Paint your app to life in milliseconds with Stateful Hot Reload. Use a rich set of fully-customizable widgets to build native interfaces in minutes. Quickly ship features with a focus on native end-user experiences. Layered architecture allows for full customization, which results in incredibly fast rendering and expressive and flexible designs. Flutter’s widgets incorporate all critical platform differences such as scrolling, navigation, icons and fonts, and your Flutter code is compiled to native ARM machine code using Dart's native compilers. Flutter's hot reload helps you quickly and easily experiment, build UIs, add features, and fix bugs faster. Experience sub-second reload times without losing state on emulators, simulators, and hardware.

About

Huxly is an AI mobile app builder that turns a written prompt or Figma frame into editable app code. Choose Expo (React Native) or Flutter for iOS and Android, or SwiftUI for native iOS. Preview changes in the browser; SwiftUI projects can also run in a streamed iPhone simulator or the Mac Companion. Start from templates or edit source files directly, then export code or push it to GitHub. Huxly connects Supabase or Firebase for authentication and data, adds RevenueCat subscriptions or Stripe payments, and generates backend APIs, webhooks and edge functions. Backends deploy to your own Netlify, Render or Railway account, with secrets kept server-side. Cloud builds support TestFlight, App Store and Google Play submission. Its MCP connector lets Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and Codex work directly on Huxly projects using an existing AI subscription. Huxly serves founders, designers and developers who want to ship mobile apps while retaining their source code.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • - It is an easy-to-learn framework that helps in creating mobile application with beautiful UI. - It helps in creating cross-platform application with single code that shortens the development time drastically. - It has numerous widgets readily available to create user interface with lots of customization. - It has a great community support.
  • - It helps in building deeply optimized cross-platform application for both Android and iOS with single code base. - The application created on Flutter as fast, if not more, than the application build on the native platform. - The community is really supportive and increasing rapidly with time, so there is a rare chance that the developer gets stuck on an error or bug.
  • 1. Flutter makes it quite easy to build a cross-platform application with native features and functionalities. 2. With the recent Flutter 2.0 update, Flutter now also allows the users to create stable web application along with mobile apps. 3. The application builds on Flutter is as fast as application build on native platforms. 4. There widget available for almost everything in flutter. 5. It uses Dart programming language, which is pretty easy to learn if the user has a prior knowledge of any OOP language. 6. There is a huge community present on the internet for helping out with errors.
  • Flutter helps in creating android, iOS and web application with a single code base. It uses a programming language called Dart, which is extremely easy and intuitive to learn if you have prior knowledge of any OOP language like Java. It has a huge community of support for discussions or to get help if you get stuck.
  • 1. Flutter can be used to develop cross-platform applications as it can create applications for both Android and iOS with a single code base. 2. The most unique feature of Flutter is "Hot Reload". When using hot reload the developer do not have to wait for minutes to build the application after every change, it saves the change and rebuilds the application in less than a second.

Cons

  • - The web application created on flutter is not as stable as the mobile applications. FEEDBACK: - Flutter team should focus more on perfecting the mobile application instead of introducing new development platforms like web application and Windows Application.
  • - The updates are rapid, and it creates problem in the form of dependency deprecation, so to tackle that the developer has to be updated about the new features and functionalities of the framework.
  • 1. The iOS application build on flutter is not as good as the android application in terms of native support and performance.
  • The only problem in using Flutter as an app development tool is that it is still evolving and growing and because of that after every major update the old project's code gets deprecated which sometimes is a huge hassle to migrate to the new syntax.
  • 1. Flutter is fairly a new framework and there is not a lot of tutorials of it available on the internet.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • - I like that Huxly gives me a real choice of stack: React Native, Flutter, or SwiftUI. I’m not locked into one way of building the app. - The backend can live in a separate repo, and deploying it to Render or Railway is straightforward. I like having that separation and control. - The account has limited credits, which I understand given the API costs. What surprised me was MCP: I can keep building the same Huxly project from ChatGPT or Claude and use the limits I have there. - MCP does much more than edit code. It can work from a Figma design, run builds, send a build to TestFlight or Google Play, and test app flows by tapping through them like a user. That last part is honestly what amazed me.

Cons

  • No real cons so far; Huxly feels smooth and sleek.
