About

Welcome to your new favorite browser. Get the latest features, fast performance, and the development tools you need to build for the open web. All the latest developer tools in beta, plus experimental features like the multi-line console editor and WebSocket inspector. A separate profile and path so you can easily run it alongside release or beta Firefox. Preferences tailored for web developers, browser and remote debugging are enabled by default, as are the dark theme and developer toolbar button. Firefox DevTools now grays out CSS declarations that don’t have an effect on the page. When you hover over the info icon, you’ll see a useful message about why the CSS is not being applied, including a hint about how to fix the problem. The new Firefox DevTools are powerful, flexible, and best of all, hackable. This includes a best-in-class JavaScript debugger, which can target multiple browsers and is built in React and Redux.

About

No experiments, adware, annoyances, or unnecessary distractions. Extension firewall and other security improvements included, without sacrificing usability. LibreWolf is always built from the latest Firefox stable source, for up-to-date security and features along with stability. Everyone can participate in the development of LibreWolf. Join us on GitLab, element.io and gitter. uBlock Origin is already included for your convenience. Recommended addons are not bundled and need to be installed manually, depending on your needs. There are several good browser testing sites on the Internet. Here are just a few that we find most useful. We’re always open for tips on new good ones.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Librewolf has a friendly, uncluttered and 'sensible' appearance. It is as fast as Midori, and it is possible to have a blank home page, unlike Midori.
  • Best privacy browser of all times in terms of privacy, speed, ads blocking, etc. LibreWolf is better than hardened Firefox and with no effort. Beside, we can compile LibreWolf if we want. With this browser we know what it is doing in the background. There is no browser in the market that compete with it.
  • - Very strong privacy protection by default, can be hardened graphically through specific Librewolf config in the settings or via addons - Helpful community - Integrates upstream updates fast - High availability for linux distros

Cons

  • Unfortunately, it doesn't import bookmarks from Opera, even though it says that it does.
  • I don't find in this browser any cons. All settings can be adjusted accordingly to the necessities.
  • - Can break certain sites that invade your privacy
