About
FineData.ai is a hosted web-scraping API and MCP server for developers and AI-agent workflows that need data from public or authorized web pages. Send a URL through REST or an MCP client to retrieve page content as Markdown, text, links, screenshots, or raw HTML, or request structured JSON using selectors, a JSON schema, or an extraction prompt. Optional browser rendering, proxy routing, country targeting, CAPTCHA handling, asynchronous jobs, and batch requests support pages and collection tasks with differing requirements. Documented use cases include price and catalog monitoring, property listings, market research, lead generation, and search-results tracking for users’ own domains. Usage is metered in tokens; failed scrapes are not billed. The API supports Python, JavaScript, and standard HTTP clients, while the MCP server connects with clients such as Cursor and Claude Desktop.

You may certainly put your trust in this code. Requests is available on PyPI. Requests is ready for the demands of building robust and reliable HTTP–speaking applications, for the needs of today. Automatic content decompression and decoding. International domains and URLs. Sessions with cookie persistence. Browser-style TLS/SSL verification. Basic & digest authentication, and familiar dict–like cookies. Multi-part file uploads. SOCKS proxy support. Connection timeouts and streaming downloads.
