Pros from Real Users Pros I like its cloud storage capability that allows you to manage large volumes of data securely and efficiently. The platform offers advanced access controls, allowing you to define specific permissions for each user. It also facilitates collaboration with secure and easy-to-use file sharing features. Transferring files has been automated by Files.com, which has been an incredible solution. Files.com has incredible and secure features that keeps everything organized. It's a secure and easy-to-set-up storage for small and mid-size Businesses. The automation feature like the creation of folders and copying of files works great. Allows file sharing with temporarily accessible links. Integrated with Backblaze and Azure Blob storage. Files don't get corrupted. Files.com provides a significant number of integrations that allow for pretty complex workflows. Yet, in doing that, it does not lose sight of the need for simple file transfers, and provides a rock-solid platform. 1. Easy files transfer setup. 2. Status update on multiple channels, easy integrations. 3. Efficient pricing. The UI is nice so that non-technical users can use it, compared with S3. There are also other useful features, such as file expiration and encryption. The support is also very helpful. The system is easy to manage and us, I have managed a lot of systems over the past 30+ years in IT and I have found that it is one of the best that I have ever had the pleasure to support for all my end users. The service has been very reliable for quite some time now, and we love the ease of use of the web UI to administer the site. There are plenty of options, some of which are very advanced and even with that, it doesn't feel overwhelming for the less tech savvy users. Documentation is also good, which helps to understand all the features that Files.com offers. Good support, intuitive web interface, quick storage, secure cloud storage. Very customizable and can be used in all types of scenarios for file transfers. - The software is very easy to learn and use. - It supports brick FTP and multiple ports. - The files get stored securely		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros UX/UI, Flexibility, Reliability, Encryption, Controls, Easy to manage, Snapshots, and many other functionalities. Easy way to try for free and back up to your data, can upgrade if you need and pay for only what you use. - The zfs filesystem with a webui in front of it is the best storage solution I found. I always found it a shame that Reiserfs and btrfs developed so slowly. Zfs has all the necessary features builtin like checksumming, ssd acceleration within a pool, snapshotting. - I particularly like the fact you can easily go back a truenas version by booting a previous zfs boot/root-snapshot. An update had an issue, so reverting to the previous truenas version, which was compatible with the rest was as easy as selecting the previous boot-version of zfs and restarting truenas. - I also like the Kubernetes-integration, although a lot of work is still ahead to make it play nice with the complete Kubernetes ecosystem, although that's more the goal of the 3rd party repo, than Truenas itself seemingly. Anyway, it's possible. - Setting up shares and security for backups and cloud sync is quite easy. - All settings for TrueNAS can be exported to have a complete backup of the base system settings in case you need to restore the system. This product's integration with IX's TrueNAS Scale has been (so far) a beneficial part of my 3-2-1 backup strategy. Easy to use GUI, plans are cheap and suitable for multiple businesses. The free plan offers 25GB free. Download speed good. Cons UX/UI just a little bit. None that I can see yet, I am completely new to NAS and backup solutions. - The apps/Kubernetes setup could be improved - Some features like the alerting with AWS SMS, email, is a bit hidden away, but once found super useful for alerts and very easy to setup. The IX-Storj plan is hidden if you do not select it the first time through. If it's a user's first time using Storj, give them some time to try it out and another chance at the opportunity. No server in South East Asia. No easy integration to TrueNAS scale.
