About Logbooks for Guns is browser-based record-keeping software for Federal Firearms Licensees. Since 2011, dealers, C&R collectors, manufacturers and importers have used it to log more than a million firearm transactions in an electronic acquisition and disposition (A&D) bound book. Firearms come in with barcode scanning and go out with ATF Form 4473 completed on a tablet or computer, with the NICS response recorded on the form. A business can keep separate books for consignment, gunsmithing, pawn or NFA items. No correction overwrites a record: the original entry and the reason for the change are kept, and the complete book exports for an ATF inspection. Each team member has their own permissions, existing records import from a spreadsheet, and a REST API with webhooks connects point-of-sale and e-commerce systems. Dealer plans are tiered by annual acquisitions, starting at $8 a month; collectors, manufacturers and importers have their own plans, and every plan begins with a 30-day trial.

Pros from Real Users Pros Everything works as it should. Its fast and easy to use. The interface is very intuitive and the receipt print out has all the important information on it. Complete, easy to use, intuitive. Easy to install. Great Customer Service. I see any reason not to buy FastBound. I have referred many of my friendly FFL's. So far everything from customer service and response time to the efficient program structure. Multiple firearms forms filled in quickly. Customer support is almost instant its great to have a tool like this in the gun business its a must have at my store. Startup ease. Low cost software. Good application navigation. Reporting extract setup using Swagger. Very quick to support questions when we started. The application is designed extremely well we only had two questions we posted and the answers were addressed immediately. Good cycle counting/inventory verification. Definitely was a skeptic in the very beginning, but now that I have been using it for a few months it is the best thing I have done for my time and peace of mind in the 3 years I've been in business. Data entry time is cut by 75% if not more. Very user friendly and intuitive. I'm a luddite and it's easy for me to use. I'd highly recommend Fast Bound to anyone. User friendly interface that just makes sense. Keeps us compliant. Makes past transaction lookup a breeze. All the information you need is right where you need it. Ease of use, sending multiple forms, ability to print labels from the platform. Also can download and update daily. This product replaced another program which didn't provide any support after paying for renewal. It was server based and after my server crashed, I was unable to get support to get it working in a client server environment. I chose Fastbound because it allowed me to continue to service my customers during the pandemic by allowing my customers to complete their 4473 online via my Ipad while entering information at my outdoor patio. I loved being able to go directly into ATF Echeck and obtain approval within the program. I love completing the 4473 digitally with signatures and simply printing out the final product. Also, I love the bound book feature and online help from the developers of Fastbound is 1st rate and quick.
