About Exim is a mail transfer agent (MTA) used in Unixllike operating systems. The first version was written in 1995 by Philip Hazel for use in the University of Cambridge Computing Service's e-mail systems. Exim is distributed under the GPL, and therefore is free to download, use and modify. Exim somewhat resembles Smail 3, but it has diverged and now surpasses it in user friendliness and flexibility. They both follow the Sendmail design model where a single main binary controls all the facilities of the MTA. This monolithic design is considered by some to be inherently less secure and slower, but despite this, Exim's security record is much better than Sendmail and comparable with Qmail and Postfix, as is its speed. 	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Thanks to the drag-and-drop email designer and automation builder, setting up unlimited campaigns and automations has been a breeze. The simplicity and versatility have truly elevated our marketing efforts! I've been using SendMails from last 2 years. Besides a few hiccups, the platform is very easy to use and saves a lot of money. Support team is always there if I need any help. Very little. If you're not an expert programmer this software is not for you. Even if you are sometimes the software works and most times it doesn't. Work for one week, then all stopped working. that's the only good thing i have to say. If you want to waste your time and money go on. Cons Really Very Awesome Service, Over all 100% Good Service. At the moment, there's nothing. The platform is far more stable than last year. Service is practically non-existent. You can put in a ticket and you're luck if they answer within 48 hours. If they do answer the canned response is it's your fault not theirs. If you request additional support after your first ticket they usually ignore you. The list of bad things is quite big: - it stopped working after one week - complicated platform - semi manual process - 0 support - no refund (which goes against their 30 days money back guarantee)
