About
MaxLabs is an AI workspace for coding, chat, editable design, and tool-connected automation. macOS and Windows desktop apps, a Node.js CLI, and a Visual Studio Code extension support codebase exploration, planning, file edits, multi-step coding tasks, and approval-controlled shell commands. Web chat provides project context and memory. Workspace tools connect shared text and CSV files and MCP services with selectable permissions. Local and cloud schedules run recurring tasks, while webhooks trigger event-driven automation. The beta design editor supports AI refinement, editable text and shapes, image libraries, brand kits, and PNG export. A developer API provides model access and usage tracking with pay-as-you-go billing. Monthly subscriptions start at $10 for Worker access; Builder and Power add Pro and Worker access with larger weekly allowances. Features and quotas vary by interface and plan.
