Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It has more features than all mind maps out there. It includes Arabic support, AI support "u have to pay tokens for that separately" different layouts, good customer support and good handling of images and attachments. A mind map is a way to link knowledge points together. For a teacher, showing a mind map to students can help them understand complex knowledge points quickly. EdrawMind has helped me to make a large number of exquisite mind maps. Different from hand-drawn mind maps, I can expand and hide sub-themes arbitrarily on the computer to help me complete wonderful class explanation. As a business specialist, I often face a lot of data processing in my work, but EdrawMind can simplify complex data, structure complex data, and create dynamic and interactive presentations that help me break down problems into manageable components and explore potential solutions. With its mind map construction, it can effectively combine event details, timelines, supplier contacts, and logistics. Its biggest advantage is its integration with popular task management tools like Trello or Asana, allowing for seamless conversion of mind map elements into actionable tasks with due dates and reminders. EdrawMind is a powerful mind mapping tool, its intuitive and user-friendly interface makes it easy for even beginners to create mind maps effortlessly. Users can easily add nodes, change colors, and adjust the layout of the mind map. Impressively, EdrawMind allows multiple people to work on the same mind map simultaneously, which is very useful for team collaboration and group projects. Moreover, EdrawMind has cross-platform compatibility, and can be used on various platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, and even has a web-based version that can be used on any computer with an internet connection. EdrawMind is not only used for creating mind maps, but you can also use it to create flowcharts, fishbone diagrams, and other types of diagrams, showing its versatility. In addition, EdrawMind provides a large template library, which can save you time and provide inspiration for your mind maps. Moreover, it can integrate with other tools, such as Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Evernote, making it easier for you to incorporate mind maps into your existing workflow. This software can flexibly divergent thinking when creating mind maps, and is no longer just a vertical map. Cons It's tricky they used the word syncing. It's actually re uploading the whole file with every tiny change which is a waste of time and bandwidth. It's useless coz it's not really syncing. I'm not sure if they can change this. It's inconvenient, the need to upload 100 mg file slowly with every tiny change. Syncing should be only for changes made. not uploading the whole file all over again. I have to say, the price is a little too high. Compared with the monthly subscription system of other software, this software is not competitive in price. I was hesitant at first when I saw the price. At the same time, it does not have the coordination function between the computer and the mobile end, and the operation function of the mobile end is very troublesome to use. For me, EdrawMind says the only downside is that it doesn't offer in-depth financial analysis tools like in dedicated financial software applications, and a similar tool would be even better. EdrawMind, while a versatile tool, has been met with some criticism from its user base. Firstly, the pricing of the full version of EdrawMind is viewed as a bit steep, particularly for occasional users. Secondly, despite offering a wide array of templates and design elements, it's been noted that EdrawMind lacks in providing adequate customization options. Some users feel this limitation hampers their ability to fully express their creativity. Lastly, there are reports of performance issues with the software. It tends to be slow or unresponsive at times, particularly when users are working on larger mind maps. The only drawback is that files cannot be categorized according to attributes.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Lucid makes building mind maps and systems charts easy and you can get things looking decent with a little elbow grease. * Many technical templates built in * Integration with BambooHR org chart * Additional integrations / ability to easily import from outside sources Browser based UI easy to operate from any device. Multiple templates in free version making it possible to complete what you need. Easy sharing making collaboration smooth. You can customize and make your own graphics from scratch, but what I really liked about Lucidchart is the amount of default templates they had to work with, and the wide range of subject/themes for them. So much professionally software is very heavily designed around a corporate office environment. It's nice to see some educational related templates in there! It's cloud-based and very easy to use. You can get started with your diagram right away. The virtual tour in the beginning is helpful. There are hundreds of templates to choose from, which really saves you time. The automatic alignment of lines and arrows is really helpful. Collaboration is easy. You can also easily create and save custom shapes and designs and use them in future works. My favorite part is the export with transparent background option. Cons It's not the best on design side as far as choice of colors, fonts and custom shapes. * Expensive * Renewal was a mess * Admin portal was buggy for awhile Plotting is sometimes clumsy. Should have offline working and sync later on. If you had the know how, you can definitely make charts and graphics much nicer than this in other programs, so this is very much designed for someone who only needs the basics for whatever they're doing. It can also be cumbersome at times when editing one of their templates. The same automatic alignment of lines and arrows has caused me trouble when working with smaller shapes, as it gets difficult to get it to point where you want. The user interface is not that intuitive either.
