Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It does seem to be very versatile, however, the billing glitch and subsequent customer service, or lack of, more than make this a very undesirable product. Compared to the single-digit templates of other software, EdrawMax has a large number of templates for me to choose from. As a programming teacher, these templates have saved me a lot of time and energy and helped me win many awards. I love EdrawMax so much! I would recommend it to all my colleagues! Having used EdrawMax for so long to do mind mapping, for a business professional, the biggest advantage found is the meeting presentation function, usually in the meeting, to report a large amount of data, but EdrawMax can make data simplified and easy to understand by creating visually appealing presentations, enhance communication and convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging way, and facilitate interactive discussions in meetings. Its powerful visual framework enables decision-makers to quickly and effectively identify actionable solutions, break down complex problems, identify root causes, explore solutions, and track progress towards resolution. 1. User interface similar to Microsoft Office: This similarity can make the tool easier to use for those familiar with Microsoft Office. 2. Extensive library of shapes for educational and professional purposes: This library can help users create a wide variety of diagrams and illustrations. 3. Best for creating circuit diagrams: EdrawMax offers specific tools and features that make it excellent for creating circuit diagrams. EdrawMax is a standout software when it comes to simplifying the creation of diagrams. With its intuitive features and user-friendly interface, it effortlessly enables users to convey complex information in a visually appealing manner. Whether you are a professional designer, a business analyst, or a student, EdrawMax provides the necessary tools to bring your ideas to life. One of the key strengths of EdrawMax lies in its extensive library of shapes and templates. With a vast collection at your fingertips, you can quickly and efficiently create diagrams that meet your specific needs. From flowcharts and mind maps to organizational charts and floor plans, EdrawMax covers a wide range of diagram types, ensuring versatility for various industries and applications. Another notable advantage of EdrawMax is its commitment to enhancing productivity. With its efficient diagramming tools, users can save valuable time in the creation process. The intuitive drag-and-drop functionality and smart connectors simplify the arrangement of shapes and elements, ensuring a smooth workflow. This streamlining effect enables users to communicate their ideas effectively and efficiently, making complex information more easily understandable. Cons Supposed to be a 7 day free trial! Not true. 10 minutes after I installed software, tried to print a simple document-was prompted to pay $99 in order to print. At this point, they had me-I paid so that I could print. The kicker is-When I tried to print again, It prompted me for payment again. Thinking the first payment failed I ok'd the next payment. Come to find out, this time they charged me $245! And what's even better-I still could not print!! System prompted me for another payment! I immediately Uninstaller and reached out to customer service and have gotten the same one-around response that others here describe. Sadly, the app doesn't work on phones or tablets at the moment, and I had to turn on my computer for it when I used the tablet for work, which was quite a hassle. At the same time, EdrawMax often appears after the problem of saving failure, which makes me very angry. Not working with online education platforms has left many educators and students missing out on the way to use this mind map, and for educators and students, with the support of EdrawMax, their educational work and studies are more effective with half the effort. 1. Price: The cost of EdrawMax might be a barrier for some, especially for individuals or small businesses with a tight budget. There are free versions available, but they come with limitations, such as watermarks on the output. 2. Performance Issues: Some users have reported performance issues such as slow loading times or crashes, particularly when working with large or complex diagrams. 3.Lacking Advanced Features: For some professional users, EdrawMax may lack certain advanced features that are available in more specialized diagramming tools. Expanded Template Library: Enhance the user experience by providing a broader range of templates. By offering more diverse options tailored to different industries and purposes, users can find templates that precisely align with their specific needs. Enhanced Customization Options: Provide users with more personalized settings to allow for greater customization. This can include additional control over colors, fonts, styles, and layouts, empowering users to create diagrams that reflect their unique brand identity or personal preferences.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Nothing - software download wasn't working for days. Had contacted customer support, finally got it installed only to find out it is not compatible with OSX 10.15. Fails to launch. Emailed customer support to see if the system requirements are for Big Sur or not. Short learning curve and easy to understand steps. Great practical starter templates and the ability to create your own. I own an IT services company and need to create network maps and floorplans for our network installs documentation. I had been using another product (initials SD) for many years, but it was getting dated, and not always the easiest to use. This year I discovered MyDraw and found it to be a superior product in every aspect for my needs. The learning curve is pretty quick, but the power and flexibility is almost unlimited. Creating and modifying network diagrams was much faster, and it's also very easy to import your own artwork or photos to really customize the equipment. My clients have commented how professional our network documentation packages are, and MyDraw helps us create the visuals quickly and cost-effectively. One of the HUGE features that MyDraw offers, which I will be using on a regular basis, is the floor plan library. If I had to add one major feature to that other app, this would have been it! Super helpful for my usage. Superior Customization. Easy User face. Variety of Templates. This offline solution have plenty of templates to start with, clean user interface, plenty of design options and fantastic set of libraries with design elements. Import and export works perfectly. Just to explain, for example, a line tool options You need 30 minutes or more. Cons Won't run on OSX 10.15. Have to modify the launch settings ini file in the resource directory to disable Mac fonts. It feels like ported and patch-job here. I don't see anything negative about MyDraw. Please keep improving it as you go forward. Being that this is primarily a business app, I was surprised to not find any type of basic business rooms in the floor plan library. The other major omission in the floor plan area is basic architectural objects, e.g. doors, windows, electric outlets, data and phone ports. I am basically having to create these myself, which makes this a little more time-consuming until I build up my own library of those types of shapes. A lot to take in right away. Almost overwhelming if you don't go step by step. User interface is an excellent one, but gear icon, for more option, is really unnecessary. Loading time should be shorter.
