Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It does seem to be very versatile, however, the billing glitch and subsequent customer service, or lack of, more than make this a very undesirable product. Compared to the single-digit templates of other software, EdrawMax has a large number of templates for me to choose from. As a programming teacher, these templates have saved me a lot of time and energy and helped me win many awards. I love EdrawMax so much! I would recommend it to all my colleagues! Having used EdrawMax for so long to do mind mapping, for a business professional, the biggest advantage found is the meeting presentation function, usually in the meeting, to report a large amount of data, but EdrawMax can make data simplified and easy to understand by creating visually appealing presentations, enhance communication and convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging way, and facilitate interactive discussions in meetings. Its powerful visual framework enables decision-makers to quickly and effectively identify actionable solutions, break down complex problems, identify root causes, explore solutions, and track progress towards resolution. 1. User interface similar to Microsoft Office: This similarity can make the tool easier to use for those familiar with Microsoft Office. 2. Not true. 10 minutes after I installed software, tried to print a simple document-was prompted to pay $99 in order to print. At this point, they had me-I paid so that I could print. The kicker is-When I tried to print again, It prompted me for payment again. Thinking the first payment failed I ok'd the next payment. Come to find out, this time they charged me $245! And what's even better-I still could not print!! System prompted me for another payment! I immediately Uninstaller and reached out to customer service and have gotten the same one-around response that others here describe. Sadly, the app doesn't work on phones or tablets at the moment, and I had to turn on my computer for it when I used the tablet for work, which was quite a hassle. At the same time, EdrawMax often appears after the problem of saving failure, which makes me very angry. Not working with online education platforms has left many educators and students missing out on the way to use this mind map, and for educators and students, with the support of EdrawMax, their educational work and studies are more effective with half the effort. 1. Price: The cost of EdrawMax might be a barrier for some, especially for individuals or small businesses with a tight budget. There are free versions available, but they come with limitations, such as watermarks on the output. 2. Performance Issues: Some users have reported performance issues such as slow loading times or crashes, particularly when working with large or complex diagrams. 3.Lacking Advanced Features: For some professional users, EdrawMax may lack certain advanced features that are available in more specialized diagramming tools.
