About

It is not a module, plugin, or extension of the Drupal CMS, nor does it share its use case or technical complexities. Instead, Drupal Wiki is a standalone, out-of-the-box business software tailored specifically for professional internal documentation, quality management, and compliance tracking. It requires no technical setup or coding skills to operate. With intuitive rich-text editing, visual workflows, smart search capabilities, and enterprise-grade security, Drupal Wiki provides businesses with a fully featured, user-friendly platform to capture and manage their company knowledge effortlessly and efficiently.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It is capable of very complex relational loading of pages. If you know how to use it then it can do absolutely anything you want it to do. However, there is a steep learning curve unlike that of other CMS systems. It is open source though and that makes if useful if you need to customize the code.
  • Free to use & Open Source Supports many third party integrations Good scalability Has a great community Frequent updates
  • Free & Open Source. Lots of customization options. Frequent Security updates. Scaleable - to meet growing demands. Great community support. Integration with lots of third party apps.

Cons

  • It really doesn't have very good ease of use. You really have to be familiar with CMS systems and databases to be comfortable with this software. There is no drag and drop to speak of it is more like building with Legos
  • Steep learning curve when compared to other alternatives.
  • Decent learning curve compared to WordPress. Version updates bring massive changes making it challenging to keep up.
