Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Strong fit for organizations exchanging sensitive files, especially where encrypted sharing, permissions, and audit visibility matter. Great practical evaluation areas, including synchronization, document collaboration, and file recovery. The Bestecision review article for Tresorit adds useful buyer-focused context on pricing, compliance considerations, residency options, and data-room workflows. Tresorit is a very important platform for me mainly because this platform helps me to safeguard the most important files that I manage within my office computers. The main feature that I like about this platform is document editing. I'm on documents is positive. since it allows me to edit documents online simultaneously with the collaboration of a colleague, all the changes made to that document can be viewed in real time by all the participants in the document edition, this function is very important to me, since that allows me to store documents within this cloud storage platform, and allows me to modify it online with the collaboration of my work team. I also liked the security system that this application has and my mobile device, since it allows me to add a password to be able to access the application, I liked the fact that I can view all my files stored in the cloud, while I don't have Internet connection, it has an OffLine mode that allows me to access all my files regardless of whether I have an Internet connection. Also, there is a very important function for me as it allows me to scan any type of text and transfer it to a document within this application, this function is very important for me as it allows me to scan any type of information in text and transfer it to a document in an automated way, in addition, I liked the integration that this platform has as my mobile device, since it creates a folder in the "files" section and all the files that are moved to that folder will be uploaded to the cloud. Tresorit is an incredible platform to enhance the cloud storage service in any company, one of the first things that I liked about this platform is the free trial period, even though this free trial lasts only 14 days, I consider that It is enough time for the user to get ahead of the platform and use the vast majority of features, the free trial gives full access to all premium features of this platform, which is why I consider it a good option for all new users. In addition, the free trial offered by this platform allows you to store up to 5 GB completely free of charge, this helps a lot so that new users can store various files and learn how the platform works. Another of the things that I like about this platform are the low prices it has for the premium plan, it is also incredible how this platform is able to offer such low prices despite the fact that it offers a large storage space, I really liked this since previously I had been using other platforms that were quite expensive and that offered me a little less storage space in the cloud. In addition, I also love that the premium plan has an encryption key for each of the files that you store within this platform, this encryption key helps a lot to maintain much more complete security for all the files that you store in the cloud. Tresorit is considered by me as one of the best options to have a fairly secure cloud storage, this platform offers an encryption key for all types of files, in addition, it offers excellent upload and download speed for all files to which that you access, either from your mobile device or from your computer. One of the things that I liked the most about this platform is the way in which I can upload all kinds of files or images from my mobile device using the corresponding application, in addition, I can upload large amounts of Files while the platforms work in the background, this feature is positive because I had previously been using other software that did not allow uploading while running in the background. In addition, I also liked that I can access all the files stored in the cloud regardless of whether I have an Internet connection, this works like this in the version for computers and from the mobile phone, a copy of all the files that you upload is automatically saved to the cloud, so you can access each of them even when you don't have an Internet connection on your device. Also, it is quite easy to store new files within this cloud, since an additional folder is created in the files section of your phone, all the files that you store in that folder, will be automatically stored in the cloud. Tresorit is an excellent cloud storage service, with the help of this platform you can have storage of any type of file or document without having to pay a lot of money, in addition, this platform provides a pretty good experience when it comes to storing documents, I'm going to organize them to your liking and you can also store as many files as you want simultaneously. The things I liked the most were: - This platform provides excellent background file upload service, for example, if you have installed the app on your mobile device, you can minimize them and use another app while you are uploading a file to the cloud, the file upload will not be canceled at any time and it will not pause if you put it in the background. - Another thing I like about this platform is that it offers fairly cheap storage plans. You can buy the storage space you want, paying a relatively low price compared to other cloud storage platforms. - Another thing that I love is that this platform also has a search filter and an organization filter, in this way you can obtain an order within each file that you store, you can filter the files by date of their life or by weight of each of them, and you can also search the files using the search bar, it works great. - All the files that you store within this platform will have a decryption key when they are shared with someone, that means that every time you share a file, you will have to provide a key so that a person can access it online. Cons Teams prioritizing live document coauthoring should test that workflow carefully before switching. Tresorit has been a very important platform for me, however, the main disadvantage that I found within this platform is the lack of functions to customize the overall platform, currently cloud storage is quite beneficial, and brings an increase and a fairly fast file download, however, it is very necessary for this platform to focus on improving or incorporating some function that allows improving the current interface. Another of the negative things about this platform is that it does not allow you to filter the files, there is no type of function that allows you to filter files by date of their life, by date of age or by the weight of the files, it would be excellent to be able to carry out the files to make finding specific files much easier. The last negative feature about this platform is that it currently does not have any type of file recovery system, therefore, this is quite critical since on some occasions I deleted some files by mistake, and this platform did not help me. has allowed me to recover that information or go back to an old version of my cloud storage system. It would be excellent if this platform implemented a backup or file recovery system, or it would also be excellent to incorporate a trash system, which stores deleted files for a certain time. One of the main negative things that this platform has is regarding the storage or editing of Videos, since each of the videos that is stored within this cloud will have a quality that is much lower than the original video, this is a Negative factor since I would like all the Videos to be uploaded and shared in the original quality, despite the fact that I have a payment plan within this platform, in the same way the video quality decreases on a large scale, this does not I liked it not at all. The second negative thing about this platform is that there is no type of backup for the files that are stored in the cloud, which means that if for some reason you lose access to these files, you will not be able to recover them, in addition, if you delete any file by mistake, you will not be able to recover it either, it is very necessary that a backup system be implemented for file recovery, since on several occasions I have deleted files by mistake and I would love to recover them as they are just by pressing a button. The third negative thing about this platform is that the shared folder can only be accessible to the participants or the members of that shared folder, for example, if you want to share that folder with a guest or someone who is not in your work team, there is no way, you have to compulsorily integrate it into that shared folder so that it can view the files, there is no way to share all those files with a direct link with that person. Tresorit brought innovative features to develop a correct sending and receiving of all types of files, however, one of the main negative things that I noticed About this platform is that it is not possible to visualize or monitor the number of people who have accessed a file. shared, for example, if you choose to share a file with a specific person through a direct link to the file, you will not be able to know if that link has been used by another additional person, therefore, there is no method to be able to view the number of people who have accessed that shared link, it is really necessary that we simply have this system to make sure that only the people to whom we have shared the link can access the file. In addition, another problem that exists within this platform is that there is no type of document editing simultaneously or collaboratively, for example, if the store is a document in the cloud of this platform, you will not be able to edit that document with the help of some another colleague online, only you can edit the document, or your colleague, both cannot modify it in real time. Tresorit is quite a bold service when it comes to being used to store files in the cloud, without a doubt it is considered one of the best and fastest today, however, I have also noticed several negative things about this software , as they are: - Within this platform you cannot edit documents simultaneously with the collaboration of a work team, for example, if you want to edit a document with the help of your work colleague, you cannot do it within this platform, they will have to download and edit it simultaneously on a computer without using this platform. - When opening an image within this platform the process is quite late, I have noticed that every time I open an image it takes a long time to appear correctly, I prefer to download it and view it within my computer, I hope that this year it will be solved as soon as possible. soon as possible to view all kinds of images without downloading them. - The interface within this platform should also be modified and optimized, I have noticed that the interface can be quite always for some people, the interface does not have an attractive design which can affect user comfort.
