About

Stop struggling with scattered API keys, hacking together home-brewed configuration tools, and avoiding access controls. Give your team a single source of truth with Doppler. The best developers automate the pain away. Create references to frequently used secrets in Doppler. Then when they need to change, you only need to update them once. Your team's single source of truth. Organize your variables across projects and environments. The scary days of sharing secrets over Slack, email, git, zip files, are over. After adding a secret, your team and their apps have it instantly. Like git, the Doppler CLI smartly knows which secrets to fetch based on the project directory you are in. Gone are the futile days of trying to keep ENV files in sync! Practice least privilege with granular access controls. Reduce exposure when deploying with read-only service tokens. Contractor needs access to just development? Easy!

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • GitGuardian solves the critical issue of securing sensitive information and secrets within our code repositories. By scanning for exposed credentials, API keys, and other confidential data, it helps prevent potential security breaches and data leaks.
  • Pretty efficient in detecting possible password leaks on GitHub commits. If it wasn't for GitGuardian's notification, I would not have realized several mistakes I've committed, and it could have led to a severe security breaches.
  • I love GitGuardian because it helps me keep my code secure and clean. It scans my GitHub activity for secrets and sensitive data and alerts me when I expose something risky. It also integrates with my CI/CD pipeline and my VCS, so I can enforce security rules across my DevOps tools. GitGuardian is the best code security platform for the DevOps generation!
  • This project checks for any vulnerability in my repo's code! It's excellent, of course! I would suggest it to anybody!
  • It's excellent. Detect and protect any information that is of great value such as password username.

Cons

  • As much as I appreciate GitGuardian's security features, I find the user interface a bit challenging to navigate at times. It could benefit from some streamlining to make the experience more intuitive. Additionally, it would be helpful to have the option to remove commits directly within the platform, rather than having to resort to external tools or commands. Despite these minor inconveniences, GitGuardian remains a crucial asset in safeguarding our repositories.
  • So far I haven't faced any problems that would fit in "dislike" about GitGuardian.
  • I was very impressed by GitGuardian's features and performance, but there were some things that I didn't like about their service: - The user interface was not very intuitive or user-friendly. I had a little trouble navigating and adjusting the settings and options.
  • I didn't find any cons while I was using the GitGuardian software.
  • You should allow more free access for a little more time the free time is no that enough to get to know the product.
