About

Deep Instinct is the first and only company to apply end-to-end deep learning to cybersecurity. Unlike detection and response-based solutions, which wait for the attack before reacting, Deep Instinct’s solution works preemptively. By taking a preventative approach, files and vectors are automatically analyzed prior to execution, keeping customers protected in zero time. This is critical in a threat landscape, where real time is too late. With the aim of eradicating cyber threats from the enterprise, Deep Instinct protects against the most evasive known and unknown cyberattacks with unmatched accuracy, achieving highest detection rates and minimal false positives in tests regularly performed by third parties. Providing protection across endpoints, networks, servers, and mobile devices, the lightweight solution can be applied to most OSs and protects against both file-based and fileless attacks.

About

Instinct is a personal assistant that understands what you are working on and what is important to you, then connects directly to the applications and devices that contain the context of your everyday life. It can work across email, messaging, your screen, audio, location, and other sources rather than requiring you to move everything into a new interface. The interaction model is deliberately simple: there are no new interfaces to learn. Instinct is trained to use a phone and a computer in the same way people do, and users can reach it by text or by calling it. Its core model is trained to understand and handle the deeply personal nuances of everyday life, allowing it to move beyond answering isolated prompts and instead act on ongoing responsibilities and unfinished threads. It can follow up on conversations you have dropped, proactively call or text you when something needs attention, arrange transportation to the airport, and book a handyman for your apartment.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Instinct feels much closer to an actual personal assistant than a normal chatbot. I can text it like I would a person, hand it something that needs to get done, and let it handle the messy follow-up work. The ability to call businesses is especially useful. Things like restaurant reservations, appointment waitlists, service issues, and other tasks that still require a phone call are exactly the kind of work I want an AI assistant taking off my plate. I also really like that Instinct has its own email address. Letting the agent handle confirmations, account signups, and communication without flooding my personal inbox makes the whole experience feel more autonomous.

Cons

  • The biggest concern is privacy. Instinct needs access to a lot of personal context to be this useful, and early testers have raised questions about its permissions, security model, and terms. It is also still early and access remains limited, so I would not hand it complete control over anything sensitive without keeping a close eye on what it is doing.
