Pros from Real Users Pros Datasite provides a user-friendly and intuitive virtual data room experience. The platform is easy to navigate, making it straightforward to upload, organize, and review documents, even during complex diligence processes involving multiple parties. Features such as robust search functionality, clear folder structures, granular permission settings, and detailed activity tracking help improve efficiency and transparency throughout a transaction. Overall, Datasite is a reliable and functional VDR solution that supports a smooth due diligence process while minimizing administrative burden for both sell-side teams and buy-side counterparties. Team Datasite helped us move quickly, providing a contract and training session on short notice. The platform was intuitive, allowing us to set up a small data room and go live within two days. Permission settings were highly customizable for both internal and external teams. relatively easy to setup, good customer support who is quick to respond. getting users setup is very easy and can do it with a mobile phone. Easy to use, like that everything is date stamped so easier to find newly uploaded items. The search function works well too. Datasite allows us to efficiently manage and coordinate the diligence process, from gathering info from our clients, to quickly reviewing within the site and packaging up go share. Easiest process to manage permissions and buyer capabilities within the site. How easy it was to download files. I was fearful that I could not download, but it was simple and intuitive to do so. Easy to search. I use the Datasite platform a lot. I find that it is user friendly and very easy to navigate through the folders and documents. I like that it has a folder for "new" documents and another for "downloads", which makes it easier to find what you need in a timely manner. I love the notifications / updates and how you can track what has been recently loaded by the seller (other data rooms do not have that functionality). I also like the sleek design (there are other VDRs out there that look 10+ years older than Datasite) Super fast and easy to use; love that it opens files in separate browser windows; downloads are easy and I like the option for different file name formats		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Was easy to learn and onboard other team members. user interface is clean. has all the necessary key features. -The storage space for the price -The ease of onboarding -Real-time updates -Easy to tag others in tasks Very user friendly (even for first time users). Most useful and helpful features that other providers to not offer. Team is responsive and easy to work with. Super user friendly, not overly complicated, and relatively inexpensive. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an easy to use data room for their client at a relatively affordable price. Our clients seem to also have no issues with the deal room platform. - The way to add files and documents. - Tracking activities. - Adding users in different roles. - Separation of deal rooms. Cons I have had no issues with the platform and will continue to use it. -Not applicable N/A - preferred platform of choice with most helpful / user-friendly features. The platform doesn't have all the perks of some platforms such as the question and answer features, CIM and teaser watermarking capabilities, and other items, but in my everyday experience I usually prefer ease of use over some of these items I just mentioned. - At the beginning it was not fully intuitive in the way of usage. - The pricing is for smaller companies challenging.
