About

Meet DataGrip, our new database IDE that is tailored to suit the specific needs of professional SQL developers. Allows you to execute queries in different modes and provides a local history that keeps track of all your activity and protects you from losing your work. Lets you jump to any table, view, or procedure by its name via the corresponding action, or directly from its usages in the SQL code. Gives you an extended insight into how your queries work and into the database engine behavior, so you can make your queries more efficient. DataGrip provides context-sensitive code completion, helping you to write SQL code faster. Completion is aware of the tables structure, foreign keys, and even database objects created in code you're editing. DataGrip detects probable bugs in your code and suggests the best options to fix them on the fly. It will immediately let you know about unresolved objects, using keywords as identifiers and always offers a way to fix the problems.

About

marpy is a browser-based AI coding IDE and deployment platform built specifically for Python web developers. Most vibe-coding tools were built for JavaScript and bolt Python on as an afterthought. marpy is opinionated entirely around Flask, FastAPI, and Django. Every project gets a managed MariaDB instance with Alembic migrations enforced by default. Destructive commands like DROP TABLE are blocked in production at the platform level, not by a linter you can ignore. The AI assistant indexes the real PyPI docs for every package you install, so it writes against your actual runtime. Bring your own keys for Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, or Groq and pay nothing for AI tokens. Deploy to isolated Kubernetes namespaces (dev, staging, prod) with preview URLs, SSL, and date-based audit tags that make rollbacks trivial. The IDE includes the Monaco editor, a full terminal, git tooling, and live preview, all in the browser.

Audience

SQL developers looking for a database IDE software solution to execute queries and manage databases

Audience

Python web developers, from serious hobbyists to small teams, who build with Flask, FastAPI, or Django and want to ship to production without becoming DevOps experts. It fits indie hackers, freelancers, backend and full-stack developers, and CS students with side projects who use AI coding assistants but have been burned by tools that break databases or treat Python as an afterthought.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It helps me excel in data and information performance backed up with analysis reflected in solid reports. The support is critical and has a very authentic deployment in terms of tools. The interface is straightforward and with a lot of security in its use of the system. It encourages data quality and has excellent graphics to represent your information through statistical processes.
  • I like DataGrip because I can count on an easy-to-use environment, managing both local and remote databases. I also love its extensive support for handling various database engines. It provides a platform that works quite well; the data visualization panels are very well organized, it allows me to manage several databases simultaneously easily.

Cons

  • It is exclusive and of excellent quality; I like it very much. I have nothing terrible to mention.
  • It takes a little more effort to customize it at first, especially for new users, although it should be noted that the concept of the application is fascinating, and it works well.
