Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros AI enabled first-seen ability to scan a website in real-time for unknown websites; great filtering and extremely fast resolver. Offers DNS relay servers with DoT. DoH is now offered for routers. Customer support representatives are very friendly, engaged, and extremely helpful. They work until there is a resolution. DNS relay server app was recently upgraded to include management ability, which has helped tremendously instead of needing to self-install. + Easy to use + One-click CIPA compliance + Users can submit unblock requests directly from the block page + Changes to block lists take effect instantly + The interface is fast and intuitive + Excellent support Cons Has fallen behind other resolvers with filters. No geographical blocking (only top-level domains; cannot block by regional IPs). DNSSEC support is limited (they actively discourage it). DNSSEC support is non-existent for DoH resolver. Many filter lists do not compare to competitors. IPv6 support is behind other resolvers. NAT addresses only allow you to specify an v6 or v4 address -- not both, which severely limits ability to use non-encrypted resolvers. No v6 support for the DNS relay server software, but they are supposedly developing it. We'd like to have different filtering policies based on which VLAN the user is on. This can be done but it's a bit complex if you use Active Directory integrated DNS as we do.
