About

MusicAtlas SyncSearch is a catalog intelligence and music search platform built for rights holders, labels, publishers, and licensing teams. It makes private music catalogs searchable by sound, lyrics, natural-language prompts, and reference tracks without requiring manual tagging or uploads. The platform provides Catalog DNA visualizations covering elements such as vocals, tempo, energy, harmony, and lyrical characteristics. Rights holders can also monitor catalog performance across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and TikTok while reviewing search, listening, and licensing interaction data. SyncSearch includes MusicAtlas Value Score, which helps evaluate catalog value, track demand, and potential acquisition opportunities. Private APIs, Slack integration, role-based access, and developer tools allow organizations to embed catalog intelligence into existing workflows and make music easier to discover for licensing opportunities.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Offers a very good system for uploading music, labeling, and organizing music. Offers a good way of getting music to interested parties; not only music supervisors, but any interested party.

Cons

  • I don’t like the “Al la carte” system of pricing for composers. The starting monthly fee is only $10, but if you want to actually set up libraries for music supervisors to hear, then you need to spend another $9; and it goes up from there. Meanwhile, there is no guarantee whatsoever that any music supe will have access to your music. A DISCO information video, where supes are complaining about composers contraction them, doesn’t help. Also, the fees that DISCO charges supervisors is not publicly available, which I find strange.
