FDA 510(k)-cleared D2P® software and 3D Systems printers allow surgeons, radiologists, lab technicians, and device designers to create diagnostic-quality digital 3D models and physical 3D prints easily and quickly. DICOM images are imported into the D2P stand-alone modular software package that consolidates all 3D model segmentation and preparation steps into one workstation. D2P is a cleared medical device intended for pre-operative surgical planning and the production of 3D-printed anatomic models for diagnostic purposes. The unique image segmentation tool set and its advanced virtual reality (VR) visualization allow clinicians and point-of-care (POC) staff to minimize the effort and time associated with the creation of patient-specific anatomic models. Digital models exported from the D2P software can be used in a wide variety of applications including 3D printers, VR devices, surgical planning software, and CAD software.

VolView is an open source radiological viewer developed for clinical professionals, offering interactive, cinematic volume rendering to visualize DICOM data in 3D. Running directly in your web browser without the need for installation, it ensures data remains securely on your machine. VolView supports drag-and-drop functionality for DICOM files and provides high-quality, interactive 3D cinematic volume renderings. Users can choose from various coloring presets, adjust lighting and transparency, crop images, and interact with 3D data to gain deeper insights. The application includes standard 2D and 3D controls, measurement tools, and annotation features, with ongoing additions based on user feedback. As a local web application, VolView utilizes your machine's CPU, GPU, and disk resources for data processing and visualization, eliminating the need for servers or cloud services. Being open source, it is freely accessible to clinicians.
