About

Hivenet Compute gives you on-demand RTX 5090 and RTX Pro 6000 GPUs, plus vCPU instances, billed per second while they run. Hivenet owns and operates the infrastructure, with data centres in France, the UAE and the US, so EU teams can keep workloads and data in Europe. Use it for training and fine-tuning, inference, notebooks, rendering and batch jobs. Launch from ready-made templates in a few minutes, or automate everything through the public Compute API. If you'd rather not run the serving layer yourself, the Inference API gives you an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Teams get organisations with role-based access, prepaid credits, and S3-compatible object storage alongside hivenet compute.

About

Xinference is an enterprise AI inference platform for teams that want to run open models without building the serving stack themselves. Most teams start on the Model API: 300+ open models behind one OpenAI-compatible endpoint hosted in Australia. Switching from an existing provider takes two lines of code. As usage grows, the same workloads move to Dedicated Inference on reserved GPUs, or to a private deployment inside the customer's own cloud or data centre. Every deployment includes one control plane: per-request logs, live TTFT and TPOT monitoring, role-based access control, audit logs and SSO. Xinference does not train on customer data and does not retain it by default. Common workloads include enterprise RAG, customer assistants, agents and function calling, coding assistance, document extraction, speech and image generation.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • - Super quick setup - No BS/straightforward pricing - Fast cold starts - Reliable machines - Good internet connectivity
  • Is reliable GPU access for AI workloads at a fraction of the cost of traditional cloud providers and comes with a free trial. The ease of use is fantastic, with a good interface that lets us get started quickly. The support team is responsive and helpful. GPU's are powerful too.

Cons

  • I thought the out of the box image was a bit basic - just Ubuntu 24.04 w/CUDA. It was fine as I could quickly download and configure what I needed, but I would have appreciate some pre-packaged images. The team replied and let me know they are quickly going to add some more.
  • Honestly, nothing to dislike. It meets our needs perfectly and saves us money. Although it is still being updated and such.
