Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Simple drag and drop forms creator and published instantly. Easy to embed forms with all Platforms such as Wordpress and others too. The level of customization of this platform is great, it has a variety of advanced or customization options where you can create forms which are quite adapted to the needs that I have. This platform can handle the complex forms and processes it takes to create one very well, so it has become a great choice for me with the amount of data this platform can manage. It helps me to collect payments as well as manage subscriptions and also handle event registration, this platform is quite useful because it has practically everything covered. Cognito Form knew how to handle the integration with Zapier and also with Slack. This integration has allowed me to connect forms not only with these applications but with various applications and services where workflows and process optimization can be automated. Whether you need to send data obtained from the forms to CRM or be able to synchronize them with an accounting platform to facilitate the transfer and entry of information. Therefore, in short, this platform facilitates the integration of forms with already existing platforms and those that are currently used the most. It has flexibility in relation to the language and currencies that this platform handles, so its use can be international, and it can be suitable for any company with local currency, no matter where its headquarters are located. This being a good choice for me because I was able to adapt forms for clients of different nationalities and make it easier to convert the currency and also the language, having the benefit of having a global reach without having to limit myself to having a local client base. I'm just expanding beyond my home country. Its customer service team is receptive, it has been able to satisfy my doubts that I have had over time, I did not have to wait long to get an answer about some features that I did not know how to handle on this platform. Although I certainly do not want to mention the ease with which forms can be created since it has a very easy to use interface, I feel that it is quite intuitive, which is why the first forms I created were very quick and easy. So, the help I got from customer support was pretty complimentary but helpful. * The ease with which payment methods can be implemented within the forms is extremely incredible. Although I would like them to add more payment methods such as receiving payments from digital wallets such as Payoneer, Neteller or Skrill in order to facilitate the user and have a better diversity of payments. They could also adapt to the crypto world and allow payments to be integrated in different cryptocurrencies which a customer can access with simple steps and easily send payments. But for now, the payment methods that Cognito Forms has within its forms work very well and I have not had problems and errors during its use and application. * The templates are very varied and not only show templates depending on what you want to collect but also that you can order templates depending on the industry. The marketing templates have worked very well for me for the daily use that I give to Cognito Forms, I have been able to have very good results both within surveys and also with model release forms. With all these templates I have had good potential within my specialty, and I have obtained good results when applying the forms of this platform. I can also have forms in a personalized way and in the same way be able to save them to use them in another application or applications of similar use, thus being able to save time in my workflow. The forms created in Cognito Forms have a very optimized design, that is one of the things that I liked the most, since I have the ability to add an optimal design to my forms and I can change the colors of the design, in order to add more comfort to the interviewee during the completion of the information required in the form. Also, another thing I like about Cognito Forms is that it provides me with real-time receptivity to all the opinions that clients write, so I can receive the information instantly, when the client completes the form successfully. In our company, we handle the creation of many forms, since we constantly need user opinions about a previously provided service. Cognito Forms has been one of our best options for creating forms, one of the things that I liked the most about this platform is that it has an excellent way to create forms, quite simple and easy to use. As I mentioned, the customization options are available and they're pretty good, but to really give it a more unique feel I run into this problem where you have to add code to the forms. Although it has integrations with a large number of platforms that are currently used, it is not possible to connect certain platforms that are not directly integrated with Cognito Forms, so an intermediary tool is needed that can do this bridging work that allows the connection of this platform with others. This negative point is not so serious because if the platform that a user is available to integrate with Cognito Forms, then everything will be fine, otherwise you will have to do the tedious work of having to connect platforms like Zapier to serve as a can for the integration. There is a lack of a scheduling function that is integrated into this platform, because this is a limit for creating forms that have to do with reservations or appointments. So, to do this you will need to connect other platforms with which you have programming tools to be able to do this job. I hope that soon they add that function that is so vital for forms for reservation purposes. Another significant limitation that Cognito Forms has is that it does not have a robust tracking or auditing feature, which makes it difficult to track changes or actions on forms. This can be problematic for businesses or organizations that need to keep track of who is accessing their forms and what changes are being made. * Only the Stripe platform for the Pro version is available as a method of delimiting payments, this should be broader since you are paying for a service in which the various ways in which payments are received should already be integrated. I can understand that it is valid for the free version, but if I only want to have features of the Pro version, but the paid means like PayPal I simply cannot because I have to upgrade to a more expensive version which I will not use all its benefits. For the only advantage that is seen in the most expensive plans is for the management of a large team or companies that want to integrate several departments of the rest, it is not necessary to have such advanced features and not take full advantage of it. For the only thing that is fair in the plans is the fair price that each plan has when you want to add more users, however, for the rest it is not flexible if you want to improve only one aspect of the current plan. Another thing that there are problems with the plans is security and that is that they only offer two-step authentication if the most expensive plan of that platform is purchased, this means that if a small team wants to protect the collected data in a secure way, they cannot do it Because of this, you simply have to purchase the most expensive plan and not take advantage of all the advantages or simply have a certain risk of not being able to activate the two-step security which is very common in any platform that exists today without paying for something additional. * It should have a section with easy documentation that allows non-expert users to be able to perform better in the creation of forms and that they can get the most out of it when processing the data obtained. It would be a good way to speed up the implementation process within a company without requiring so much training on our side, but simply for the user to easily understand what data he needs to collect and how he really has to do it, this would increase productivity and they would save costs in training for the proper use of this platform. One of the things I don't like about Cognito Forms is accessing the forms from the cell phone. Compared to other platforms, Cognito Forms does not allow me to modify the design or the visualization that the client has when opening the form using the version for mobile phones. Currently, the forms open in a browser version, when they are accessed from the cell phone, and it should not be this way, it should allow me to create a unique design for cell phones so that the interviewees can have more ease in completing the form. One of the things I must criticize negatively about Cognito Forms is its ability to receive responses from interviewees. Compared to other platforms, which offer a real-time responsiveness service, Cognito Forms takes even longer to receive responses. When one of our clients successfully responds to our forms, these responses take approximately 20 to 30 minutes for the system to process the information and we finally receive it.
