About

CloudMounter is a must-have tool for laptop users with low-capacity SSD-drives. You can easily mount most popular clouds as disks without having to download online files on the hard drive. As well as secure cloud files with data encryption. Choose one of your Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive accounts and manage them in Finder for free.

About

dosya.dev is cloud storage for individuals and teams to store, back up, sync, and share files. Access your files on the web, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Connect your existing tools through rclone, S3-compatible access, WebDAV, and SFTP, or import files from Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. Organize personal files, photos, and work projects in one place. Collaborate through shared workspaces, custom roles, permissions, comments, and version history. Set storage limits for each workspace and manage access with email-domain and IP restrictions. Use webhooks to connect file activity with other services. Pricing is based on storage capacity rather than the number of team members, with the same core features across all storage tiers. Built by Australian company Dosya Pty Ltd, dosya.dev combines everyday apps with flexible access for technical workflows.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I had the OneDrive and Dropbox clients running at login plus the AWS console open half the day for S3. Now all of it mounts as drives and nothing mirrors to disk unless I actually open a file. On a 256GB MacBook that's the difference between constantly playing storage tetris and just not thinking about it. S3 in Finder is the part I'd pay for alone - drag a file into a bucket like it's a folder, no console, no cli.
  • I was able to stop running the native One Drive, Dropbox and Box apps on my Mac, replacing them with the very low profile CloudMounter. This provided a lower memory impact and faster loading time of the OS at login. When I had a question about the software, the response from tech support was prompt and accurate. They even followed up to make sure I was able to implement their solution.
  • Integrates nicely with native Mac Finder. Doesn't get in the way. Not bloated with unnecessary features.
  • Ease of use, it does what it says it’ll do in a simple fashion. Was able to mount my Google Drive effectively.
  • Love the support. The really like to help even it it costs much time to solve. The product is also great as it solves all my network connections online and with servers. It's much faster than the native connection form Mac, especially with webdav.

Cons

  • Ran into some small quirk in the first week, can't recall what exactly - whatever it was, it hasn't come back.
  • Once I had to open the program after launching it to manually mount a cloud directory. This was after migrating my user account to a new computer so some hiccups were to be expected. Fortunately, all my authorizations and permissions carried over.
  • Not much to complain about. Sometimes less is more.
  • None. It did as it claimed without any downsides to it.
  • It could take some time, but eventually it's solved.
