Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Just do what it's supposed to. Easy to install. Capable of setting different policy for age of each backup. One price for multiple devices. Ability to backup to local disk and Cloud in same time. Wide variety of sources to backup. Easy recovery for File backup. It enables an automated backup platform to add a duplicate copy of important data. Seamless data restore process. Auto data encryption. It offers a scheduled auto backup solution for business data. It also gives data encryption and compression to make more space for it. Easy web access. Carbonite gives a personal cloud backup space for very few bucks. Easy to install and configure. Protects from many different malware attacks. Data recovery is also very easy. It provides remote access features which you can remotely wipe your data. Cons On server side needs frequent check to make sure service won't stop, running a watchdog service would be right thing to do. Restore can take long time. Constant disconnection from o365. No option for modern authentication to office365. Need frequent attention to make sure backups running properly. I never encountered any problems with it. It's an overall perfect tool for me. Nothing to share about cons. The data migration feature doesn't support many integrations.
