About

Bullet Train is an MIT-licensed Rails-based framework that saves you months of development by starting you off with all the features that are the same in every product, so you can focus on what makes your app unique. Super Scaffolding allows you to generate production-ready views and resource controllers, but it does much, much more, including allowing you to add new fields to existing scaffolds. Teams are the kind of feature where if you don't implement them on day one, they're a real pain to add later. Bullet Train's support here is industry-leading. We've weaved CanCanCan into the fabric of Bullet Train, so whether by web UI or REST API, users can only access the resources and features they're supposed to. Bullet Train comes with a professionally designed UI theme, implemented with our favorite, Tailwind CSS. And because it's MIT-licensed, it serves as a great starting point for creating, distributing, or selling your own Bullet Train themes.

About

Zim is a graphical text editor used to maintain a collection of wiki pages. Each page can contain links to other pages, simple formatting and images. Pages are stored in a folder structure, like in an outliner, and can have attachments. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a nonexistent page. All data is stored in plain text files with wiki formatting. Various plugins provide additional functionality, like a task list manager, an equation editor, a tray icon, and support for version control. Zim handles several types of markup, like headings, bullet lists and of course bold, italic and highlighted. This markup is saved as wiki text so you can easily edit it with other editors. Because of the autosave feature you can switch between pages and follow links while editing without worries. Zim can be used to keep an archive of notes, keep a daily or weekly journal, take notes during meetings or lectures, organize task lists, and much more.
