Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Using the Bottomline TAP application in JDE is smooth and works well to process vendor invoices and obtain approvals and troubleshoot issues by delivering them to the appropriate user. The company I work for started using them to pay vendors. I submit invoices to my company and the send payments to Paymode-X and they supposed to get me paid. However I am still waiting for them to pay me after over two months. Finally they said of we figured out the problem yet have yet to fix the issue in mean time I'm maxed out all cards and 2 months behind on all of them. My mortgage is 2 months behind and now being threatening with eviction my truck is now garnered a repossession on it and Bottomline still wants pay me the money that they already received to pay me over the past 2 months. Cons The OCR technology they use to get the data into JDE is very outdated and not configurable. The implementation is rushed and users are left scrambling with a mess to clean up. They don’t take the time to listen and watch the issues they are too quick to assume it’s the user error or JDE and not their own set up. We did a JDE upgrade and needed to upgrade the bottomline to 5.0 and they left us with broken system still trying to fix 6 months later. They screw the workers and mess up your credit when you can't get paid.
