About
Basecut is desktop software for wedding and event videographers who shoot with multiple cameras and need to get through hundreds of clips before they can start editing. It runs on the editor's own Mac or Windows machine, with on-device processing by default.
The app looks at an entire card dump at once. It flags blurry, duplicate and bad-audio shots, and ranks the remaining clips as heroes, keepers, maybes and skips, so the editor knows what to look at first. It reads log footage from major camera brands, including Canon, Sony, Panasonic, DJI, GoPro, ARRI and Blackmagic, applies per-camera log to Rec.709 color correction, then matches color across every camera used on the shoot.
The output is a sorted bin structure with the grades already applied, delivered as a DaVinci Resolve project, or as FCPXML, ALE or EDL for Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.

About
ClipMe turns one long Kick, Twitch, or YouTube stream into up to 100 captioned short-form clips — and it cuts them while the stream is still live.
The industry-standard workflow is polite and slow: wait for the VOD to land, run the transcript, hand the creator an unsorted pile of maybes. That workflow was designed for podcasts, and it shows.ClipMe taps the live Kick and Twitch HLS feeds and clips during the broadcast, so a streamer's highlights exist — captioned, reframed, ranked — before the stream ends. Kick has no public API for stream ingestion; most clipping tools skip the platform for exactly that reason. That ingestion layer is ClipMe's engineering moat, not a roadmap item.
Detection is vision-rank, not transcript-only. Every second of a broadcast is scored across 18 proprietary signals — including chat velocity, a first-class signal most clippers ignore — and returned as a ranked shortlist of non-overlapping moments instead of an unranked dump.
