Pros from Real Users Pros Backups without problems. Easy setup. Timer is possible as necessary. Software updates and improvements on regular basis. I have been using Backup Maker for about 8 years or so. It is easy to use and simple to set up different backup routines. Such as: Photos Backup, Email Backup, Documents Backup and a Complete Drive backup. Extreamly versatile and intuitive. We prefer non-encrypted backup, so if we mess up a file and need to retrieve a backup, it is as simple as going to the place that we backed it up and unzipping it..that's it. Very affordable. Very easy to set up and use, like all ASCOMP software’s I have bought the last years. I trust this company. Extensive configuration possible based on backup options (incremental, full, etc.), the storage (LAN), and the settings options (which data types, etc.) BackUp Maker has a very clear layout, which is particularly helpful for those new to data backup. The programme guides you effectively through the process of setting up your own backup. Gradually, you realise just how many options the software offers. For example, the backup files can be stored in the cloud with 256-bit encryption or transferred to a server via FTP. The timing and frequency of the backups can also be specified in great detail. Certain events can also be taken into account in this process. Certain processes can be triggered before and after each backup. This can also be done using your own scripts, which are launched by BackUp Maker. However, if you prefer, you can also keep it simple. Integrated with one drive for easy and cost effective storage management. Flexible & customization. Restoration easy and effective. With BluVault, we are using a centralized portal to check the backup status, access the backups that were completed, and also restore them whenever required for any end-user irrespective of where they are located. Parablu also allowed us to integrate our current identity solution to enable single sign-on which was quite helpful to ensure that our end-user has a seamless experience while backing up or restoring their data. Last, but not least, is the encryption of backup data and the fact that we control those encryption keys. First thing that Parablu’s solution enabled for us was easy restores of data. Whether it is a file, folder. Bluvault has made backup and recovery easy. Bluvault’s lightweight agent also does not affect the performance of the endpoints and interfere with bandwidth distribution among other high priority applications. We were evaluating a few different solutions for endpoint backup, but we realised that the cost of cloud storage for backup was quite high. We decided to use Parablu because one of their products - BluVault offered us the capability to utilize OneDrive cloud storage that we already had as a part of the O365 subscription and it helped us to get a good ROI out of our O365 subscription. We approached Parablu when we decided to start backing up our crucial endpoint data. After an initial trial it was clear that Parablu was the kind of solution we were looking for. While there were several hosted options, our security team was clear that we should host the backup servers(s) on-premise. So, we needed a hybrid arrangement that kept our backup servers on-premise while still using a cloud storage destination (we were keen on leveraging our MS OneDrive space). Parablu’s BluVault worked seamlessly in this hybrid model, enabling us completely unattended backups from our endpoints to OneDrive every day. The adaptability of the solution to our unique requirements made it especially attractive to work with. Our experience from trial to deployment has been smooth and we’ve been a happy customer now for over 5 years. The tech support team is outstanding. Akanksha, from the Parablu support team has been able to address any questions that arise, quickly and efficiently . We have been using Parablu’s BluVault for over two years now to backup our endpoint data to Google Drive. We save proprietary data on our endpoints which are crucial to our business. There are several backup solutions out there, but Parablu is the only one we’ve found that supports Google Drive (I believe they also support OneDrive) as a storage target. This was important for us because we were already a GSuite customer and had GDrive available as part of our subscription. BluVault’s ability to utilize the unused GDrive space we have as a secure backup vault – was a key factor in our decision to use Parablu. Unlike in the case of any other backup solution, we didn’t have to fork over additional $$ for cloud storage. It is an enterprise class product with all the bells and whistles you need, but is super simple to manage and requires minimum intervention. Our endpoints are mostly at our field locations which are in remote areas of the country; but Parablu was able to connect all the dots for us and we now protect our endpoint data anywhere, anytime. The consistent professionalism exhibited by their support team has built up our trust sufficiently now that we feel confident in their hands. I would like to especially call out Koti from their support team, who is always proactive and on top of his game. Cons Features can be fine tuned further to make it a more stable product. Support need pro-active mechanism to seek improvement areas and take pro-active actions to improve product quality and performance. We have been using the solution for a while now and we haven't had any concerns so far. Reporting part can improve little bit. Nothing other we have come across as of now. No Cons as of now, am sure if we get some concerns team Parablu will promptly help us. Nothing as such to mention as the product satisfies our need of on the go backup and restoration.
