	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I love that Ledger Lite is not cloud based. I love that it is portable and works off any computer if I transport it by jump drive to my home or to my office. I love that it covers basic General Ledger Accounting and Bank Statement balancing, because that is all that I need. This software is a perfect fit for my needs. Our organization needed a simple accounting software that would track income and expenses for our small church fellowship group. This was a wonderful find and something that suited our needs. It provides a balance sheet and we were able to figure out setting it up for contributions for individual members. The developer was so helpful in getting us set up, organized, and answered our many questions at every step. So nice in guiding us through the process as we are not accountants. The other great benefit is that it is not cloud based and once you purchase it, it is yours to keep. Wonderful! LedgerLite is simple, reliable, and easy to use. We have used it for many years to manage the accounting of our laboratory businesses. It covers our daily accounting needs efficiently without unnecessary complexity. The software is stable, and the support from Matthew has always been responsive and helpful. I have been using LedgerLite since 2019. It is very basic and simple to use and with a bit of bookkeeping skills and knowledge it can make keeping track of business, club, and association records so much easier and less frustrating. Financial statements are easily generated for monthly or yearly reports. This program is very affordable and you don’t have to pay all those high monthly subscription fees. It is a good way for small entrepreneurs to keep track of their business without having to spend a fortune. It would also be great for contract workers, therapists and any persons who need to keep track of revenue and expenses for tax purposes. Another bonus is that it is also very easy to pass on your set of books to another person on a thumb drive. This Makes it a great program to use in clubs and associations where the treasurer changes every so often. Instead of new treasures having to use what ever record keeping system they have it keeps the same books in the same format without the new treasurer having to buy the same program as the pre-existing treasurer used. I greatly appreciate this software's classic and straightforward design, which stands out in an era of increasingly complex tools. Its reliability, efficiency, and ease of use make it a valuable asset. Cons There is really nothing I didn't like. I am accustomed to using software that covers multiple entities and switching between entities without leaving the software. That is not available in Ledger Lite, but it is easy enough to load a different database and accomplish the same thing as switching within the software. Nothing really as it suited our needs which were fairly simple. It might not be as robust a program necessary for larger companies but not really sure of this. The interface has a traditional design and could benefit from some modernisation. However, this has never affected the reliability or functionality of the software, which are much more important to us. Maybe setting up the financial statements might be a bit difficult for some persons It would be helpful to have the option to print invoices directly from the software. The software can be hard to find; greater visibility and marketing would help more users discover this useful tool.
