About

Astah UML is a UML 2.x diagramming tool for software design, developed by Change Vision, Inc. It covers the core UML diagrams, including class, use case, sequence, activity, state machine, component, and deployment diagrams, plus mind maps. Astah creates models rather than drawings: when you change a model element, every diagram that uses it is updated, so your design stays consistent. AI features include AI Chat Copilot and AI-assisted code reverse engineering, which use your own API key for OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or an OpenAI-compatible service. A local MCP server lets external AI agents work with your Astah models. Conventional reverse engineering of Java, C#, and C++ code is also included. Astah UML runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux with a bundled Java runtime. A free license is available for students, and a 20-day free trial is available. Latest version: 12.0 (released July 15, 2026).

About

Outmake is a Mac app that runs open AI models on the Mac itself, so a chat, a picture or a video can stay on the machine that made it. It lives in the notch and opens into a full window. It shows which models fit a Mac before anything is downloaded, makes and edits pictures and videos, listens and speaks, and works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and OpenCode for people who use them. Outmake's current public beta is free. It is made by Ambedo Labs in Utah, and runs on macOS 26 or later with Apple silicon. Users can browse models from Hugging Face and Civitai, and use local models without an Outmake account. Cloud-provider features may require the user's own account or API key. Outmake also runs Claude Code and Codex agents and supports Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool servers. It is intended for Mac users exploring local AI, creative workflows, voice interaction and coding agents.
