We are constantly innovating, releasing new features and new tools on an aggressive schedule. Auditing and masking capabilities to keep sensitive data safe, discover and manage SQL Server instances and perform health and security checks. Achieve dramatic reductions in SQL Server backup/restore times and storage costs. Choose the best combination of CPU resource utilization and backup storage size reduction for your environment with eight compression levels. Ensure that no data or structure changes are lost during backup restores by capturing transactions made during the backup process and replaying them. Rollback truncate operation and recover lost data.

About

BDRShield is a cloud-managed hybrid backup and cyber-resilience platform designed to help businesses, MSPs, and IT teams protect critical data from ransomware, system failures, and cyber threats. Formerly known as BDRSuite, the platform provides centralized backup management through both cloud-hosted and on-premise console options for flexible deployment. BDRShield supports a wide range of workloads including endpoints, virtual machines, SaaS applications, databases, cloud instances, and physical servers across Windows, Linux, Mac, Microsoft 365, VMware, AWS, and more. The platform includes ransomware-resistant features such as immutable backups, air-gapped storage, anomaly detection, encryption, malware scanning, and automated backup verification. Businesses can store backups locally, in the cloud, or in hybrid environments while managing all operations from a unified console with real-time monitoring and reporting.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • In my work we currently implement Vembu for our customers, and Vembu has greatly improved the level of security for our consumers in general. It is fast, easy to use and has attributes that most exceptional backup solutions also have no major difficulties in using. We and our customers are very happy with Vembu.

Cons

  • After a vembu web server is synchronized with an online account and, for one reason or another, the administrator's requirements to synchronize the server with an additional online account, the administrator has only a few options. It uninstalls and reinstalls the product to change the web server id and synchronizes with an online account or has a technology support to manually transform it into the data source for them. The other option is not saved, so most of the time, administrators will certainly just uninstall and reinstall, which is often turbulent. The recovery of the vembu web server is complex and would also require an administrator in deep knowledge of how to recover the server.
