About

AnthemScore is the leading software for automatic music transcription. Convert audio files like MP3 and WAV into sheet music or guitar tab using AI. No subscription required—buy once and use forever on your PC for Windows, Mac, or Linux. Free 30 day trial. Usually most of the work of finding notes is done for you automatically. Machine learning is used to both detect notes and arrange them into measures. Tap the downbeats as you listen to set measures. For difficult sections, slow down playback without changing the pitch. Pick from a variety of different instruments to auto-format sheet music in the correct key, range, and staff. Choose standard sheet music or tablature. Save as PDF, musicXML, or MIDI. Change the time signature, key signature, or tempo for any measure in the song. Add triplets. Insert or remove measures. Double or halve the number of beats. Advanced editing options make it fast to tweak any transcription.

About

Fender Studio Pro is a digital audio workstation (DAW) designed for music recording, production, editing, mixing, mastering, and live performance. Built on the PreSonus Studio One platform, the software provides multitrack audio recording, MIDI editing, virtual instruments, and an integrated mixing environment. Its sound library includes nine virtual instruments, more than 45 native audio effects, and Fender Mustang guitar and Rumble bass amplifier simulations. The platform supports vocal pitch correction, audio-to-MIDI conversion, stem separation, and chord progression assistance for music composition and editing. Integrations with Splice and Moises provide access to sample libraries, audio separation tools, and additional music production capabilities. Fender Studio Pro also includes dedicated mastering and live performance workspaces, Dolby Atmos mixing support, and customizable arrangement and channel views.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • If you contact Anthem Score, they will answer quickly and will try to help you. That's the only good point I can tell.
  • Nothing, really. It exports pdf files with a good look to them, but the transcription is horrible and all over the place.

Cons

  • I bought it to make in vain a score of a really simple 6/8 bar piano song (right and left hand, really simple, with a very clear piano VST sound). I bought the Lite version, couldn't do it, so I bought the Pro version to get more rhythm editing settings, and after a dozen of emails with AnthemScore, I understood that I won't get what I expected. So AnthemScore was useless to me, and they didn't want to refund me. I used it only to try to get this score, exchanging mails with them, but if you pay them, it's too late, they won't make any goodwill geisture. I just lost 41,56€ and a lot of hours trying to figure it out, trying in vain to get a 6/8 bar rhythm with 2 groups of three 8th notes, like all the 6/8 scores, but it wasn't possible, all I got was 3 groups of two eight notes (with mistakes in notes), so it changes the rhythm of the track, it's not the real score. For them, it's "normal" to not write 6/8 bars like that, it's the same score according to them, and I should have guessed that I couldn't get what I wanted BEFORE buying the software. They understand that I'm disappointed but they prefer to keep the money. That's their politics. Not sure if AnthemScore will survive for a very long time with such a bad commercial vision, and such a bad software. By the way, the UX of the software is horrible.
  • 1. waste of something like $100-150 bucks 2. Notes are rhythmically all over the place. 3. Lots of extra notes. 4. Transcriptions to accurately played music to a metronome wind up looking like sheet music for Frank Zappa's guitar solos. 5. Now i have to spend more freakin money. Thanks to Slashdot, there are tons of reviews for a similar software called LaLaLa with 4+ stars for 3,000+ reviews, so i'm going to try that. Entering the chords manually is extremely time consuming.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • ∙ Recording Inputs are Easy to Configure ∙ Can easily review recordings ∙ Supports multitracking and Instrument input ∙ Can add VST plugins ∙ Has great built-in effects
  • I've been using studio one for 3 years now and it is the best, easiest to use DAW I've tried to this date. I also own Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and used to own FL Studio, but I actually prefer Studio One to all of these. It has an option to buy windy of the 3 tiers in full up front, OR you can get EVERYTHING PreSonus has to offer (software-wise) for just $15.99 a month. It'll also go on sale for $13.99 quite often.

Cons

  • ∙ UI is a bit complicated to adapt for first timers.
  • There's not much to dislike about studio one, but it would be good if they added VST support to their lowest tier, Prime. I started out on it and it held me back a lot back in the day. Also, the first party customer support is really slow (I've waited upwards of 2 weeks for help before). If you need help fast, though, Studio One still has a really large and growing community of amazing people who are always willing to help.
