Also a great tool for keeping up with current and prospective funds, and great for using to pulls stats and metrics into excel. Locally installed application makes it very responsive. The software is intuitive and easy to learn and use. Provides an Excel plugin and an API to retrieve data. Provides several ways to import and manage data from internal and external sources. Highly reliable and accurate. Enhanced Functionality: The alternative tool offers a wider range of features that cater to diverse user needs, providing a more comprehensive solution compared to other tools. This includes advanced analytics, customization options, and integration with other essential software. AlternativeSoft is an outstanding investment management software that has significantly streamlined our portfolio management processes. Ability to go fund by fund and adjust projected returns and have it recalibrate. Cons Can get a bit disorganized if you do not stay on top of updating funds, end up with a bunch of dead / old assets in the system. The design and color scheme can use a refresh. Integration Challenges: The alternative tool may pose integration challenges with existing systems and workflows. This could require additional time and resources to ensure compatibility and seamless operation, potentially causing temporary disruptions during the transition period. While AlternativeSoft offers robust features and excellent analytics, the initial setup process can be complex and time-consuming.
