Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Our company recently started offering “giving days” to support volunteering initiatives. Alaya is a simple, user-friendly platform that helps us easily pick activities and participate so we can get involved. Alaya helps connect our organisation with charitable organisations in an easy way. This really enables each individual to participate in our community engagement initiatives like volunteering. The “Challenges” section of the Alaya platform is such a great way to encourage people unfamiliar with sustainability to improve their activities each day, with small actions, so they can try more eco-friendly habits to help the planet. We receive such amazing support from the Alaya team, both in preparation for our launch but also to help keep the momentum and manage our program. The guides and templates are such a big help - and the team is so responsive! Cons No downside - elegant and fantastic service for corporate responsibility. With a lot of different people involved with NGOs, individual participants, and the company there can be quite a few exchanges, and information can sometimes get lost. Would still recommend. We’d like to invite our friends and family on the platform, but for now, it’s only accessible using our university credentials - though we are able to invite them to the activities which is nice!	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Selflessly is an easy-to-use platform that increases employee engagement through charitable giving and serving. The causes that we all care about need people and money to sustain their contribution to the community- Selflessly enables you to do both. One of the benefits we hadn't considered before adopting the platform was the opportunity for healthy competition Selflessly offered to our team. As teams see each other making an impact, they share why their respective causes matter, increasing team bonding and serving as a catalyst to increasing community impact. I like how responsive the Selflessly team is. They are a young company and very open to hearing and building out needs we have. Selflessly's product is very easy to use and integrated seamlessly into our existing business processes. The features that are most impactful are the ability to aggregate our volunteer hours and donations across our entire staff. Cons In my mind, there are two cons to Selflessly. 1. They don't currently offer an app- although I'm sure they will offer this in the future. 2. Many of the smallest local charities may not be listed until you reach out to support and have them get them connected. There are a few little items for customization we want, but the Selflessly team has been very transparent to progress and updates. The software is very comprehensive, but if I had to suggest an additional feature it would be to add an option to upload pictures of volunteers participating in their events/activities.
