Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Honestly, Ahrefs is a total lifesaver. Their backlink checker is on another level, and it's basically an all-in-one tool for everything SEO, which saves me from using a bunch of different programs. Plus, the interface is super easy to figure out. It helps to understand competitors' link building strategies. This is a valuable insight, as understanding my competitors' strategies can help improve my own link building efforts and stay ahead of the competition. The number of features you get with a single subscription is outstanding. There are lots of "all in one" digital marketing tools out there that roll out half-baked features all the time just to get more people to sign up. But Ahrefs takes the time to get its features right before rolling them out. And the classics - keyword insights, backlink audits, etc. - work incredibly well. Highly intuitive and provides just the right amount of data. Ahrefs is one of the best SEO tools for growing businesses across all sizes and markets. It's perfect for analyzing competitive advantages, identifying strengths, spotting weaknesses, and planning future steps. I like the site explorer and keyword explorer feature of Ahrefs. Site explorer gives the exact knowledge of standing of my websites and keyword explorer help me to find low competition keywords that I can easily rank on search. Cons The biggest con is the cost—it's just really expensive, especially if you're a freelancer. Also, the credit system on the cheaper plans is super annoying because you run out of credits way too fast. However, the functionality of the $99 package is limited, and I'd like to have more features for the money, such as a site audit. This is a valid concern, as having more features can help me gain deeper insights into my website and competitors' strategies. The subscription model is not favorable towards those who need multiple user logins (you have to pay for "power users" that use it past a certain threshold). That said, you can always just use a single login for multiple users without much issue. There are no other cons except pricing. Pricing is really high for small businesses but reasonable according to their services. I love almost all features of Ahrefs except its pricing. Ahrefs pricing is little bit expensive for small startup owners like me.
