About

The Agent Development Kit (ADK) is a flexible, open-source framework for building and deploying AI agents. It is tightly integrated with Google’s ecosystem, including Gemini models, and supports popular large language models (LLMs). ADK simplifies the development of both simple and complex AI agents, providing a structured environment for building dynamic workflows and multi-agent systems. With built-in tools for orchestration, deployment, and evaluation, ADK helps developers create scalable, modular AI solutions that can be easily deployed on platforms like Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform or Cloud Run.

About

StackAI is an enterprise AI automation platform to build end-to-end internal tools and processes with AI agents in a fully compliant and secure way. Designed for large, regulated organizations, it enables teams to automate complex workflows across operations, compliance, finance, IT, and support without heavy engineering. With StackAI you can: • Connect knowledge bases (SharePoint, Confluence, Notion, Google Drive, databases) with versioning, citations, and access controls • Publish AI agents as chat assistants, advanced forms, or APIs integrated into Slack, Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot, or ServiceNow • Govern usage with enterprise security: SSO (Okta, Azure AD, Google), RBAC, audit logs, PII masking, data residency, and cost controls • Route across OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or local LLMs with guardrails, evaluations, and testing • Deploy in multi-tenant cloud, dedicated cloud, private cloud, or on-premise

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • ADK feels like a serious framework for people who want to build real agents, not just quick demos. It gives developers a structured way to define agents, connect tools, coordinate multi-agent workflows, and move from local testing toward production. I like that it is open source and supports multiple languages. Python is great for AI work, but TypeScript, Go, Java, and Kotlin support make ADK more realistic for teams building inside existing engineering stacks. The production focus is the biggest advantage. ADK is built around debugging, evaluation, deployment, and reliability, which are exactly the things teams need once an agent goes beyond a prototype.

Cons

  • ADK may be more framework than you need for a simple chatbot or one-off automation. If the use case is small, a lighter tool may be faster to set up.

Pros from Real Users

Pros

  • Stack has a unique engagement process that is fantastically delivered. During our 3 month pilot, we had an AI specialist and an FDE that felt like part of our team. They were talented, took an interest in what we are building and made sure our success with the platform was top of mind. That is the people. The product is amazingly powerful, but not overwhelming. In a crowded AI world, if you need agentic workflows, I highly recommend starting with StackAI.
  • StackAI has been one of the most useful AI workflow platforms I have worked with. I really like how easy it is to build practical AI and automation workflows without getting buried in unnecessary complexity. The platform makes it possible to connect ideas, data, prompts, and business processes in a clear and structured way, which is especially helpful when moving from experimentation to real implementation. I also appreciate that the product feels flexible enough for technical users while still being approachable for people who want to build quickly and focus on outcomes.
  • - Stack has lots of different integrations out of the box, making it easy to connect to various systems my clients use every day. - Enterprise-grade security puts many of my clients minds at ease, particularly for financial services, law and private investigators.
  • StackAI is the most deployment-ready no-code/low-code AI agent platform I’ve used. As an AI workflow consultant, I’ve built and deployed multi-step agent workflows for clients across healthcare, financial services, and commercial real estate. The visual workflow builder is genuinely powerful and enterprise grade (and I’ve tested half dozen or so). The ability to chain LLM calls, connect to external APIs, and manage data pipelines without writing infrastructure code accelerates client delivery significantly. The Project Evaluator feature for testing and iterating on agent performance is a standout capability I haven’t seen matched elsewhere at this tier.
  • Stack AI's visual workflow builder is genuinely enterprise-grade. Multi-model support, RAG pipelines, and API deployment in one place. Replaced 3 separate tools for us. The no-code interface doesn't sacrifice depth .
  • The product covers the core use case well and is relatively easy to get started with. The interface is fairly intuitive once you spend some time with it, and it does help centralize tasks that would otherwise be spread across different tools. For basic needs, it works as expected and can save time compared to manual processes.
  • StackAI makes it genuinely easy to go from “we should try an AI assistant for this process” to something usable in production. The workflow builder is intuitive, RAG setup is straightforward, and the integrations/connectors cover most common SaaS tools. It’s great for quickly testing internal automations and customer-facing copilots, and iterating with non-ML teammates.
  • StackAI makes it really easy to turn ideas into actual workflows without needing to code. The visual builder is clear, the templates save you a ton of time, and once you get the hang of it, you can build pretty complex automations quickly. I also like how flexible it is when connecting data sources or tweaking logic on the fly.
  • Stack AI helps me automate small but important tasks without making it a whole project. I like that I can test ideas quickly and actually get them running in minutes. It feels light, fast, and not over-engineered.
  • What surprised me the most is how fast I can get something working. I just drag a few steps, test it, and it’s live. No long setup, no waiting on anyone. It’s the first AI tool where I actually ship things the same day I think of them.
