	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Clean and to the point interface. Free & Open source. Lots of extensions / plugins. Universal - Allows connecting to most of the popular db's via plugins. Has multiple Db management utilities. Multi platform - Available on mac, windows, linux. Simple to use. Does not attempt to maximize unnecessary (and non functional) features. Responsive developers. Reverse engineer existing DBs from connections or scripts. And can generate a completely db independent ERD. The price rocks. The documentation generator is by far the best I've seen. Cons For a free solution and a universal one - I can't find any cons. It is simple and sometimes manual alterations of DDL is needed (e.g., sharding, if present). I'm not (yet) allowed to use it at my current place of employment.
