Pros from Real Users Pros NetCrunch helps us to effectively monitor our networks. We can easily able to monitor IP addresses which helps us to reduce security risk. Diagnostic tools are well organized and easy to use. It keeps track of services, and it can even scan uncommon ports and run scripts in response to alarms. Great tool for network monitoring. Whether it's Windows, Linux or network environment or something else, it can monitor complete IT network. There are many monitoring multipack included with it that can be manually added to the nodes that are monitoring or are discovered automatically. AdRem NetCrunch helps us to track and monitor all our devices in our organisation. It provides real time alerts about the defects found. We can monitor devices remotely, during holidays also. NetCrunch provides us benefits to diagnose the problems and improve the efficiency of our IT Infrastructure. It is very proactive software that keep our devices connected to our network and monitor them safely. Excellent tool, after we started using NetCrunch, our users are really happy with the support and services they are getting and the improved and prompt help they are receiving. Best tool to analyse IoT data. We can easily able to detect and collect critical IoT data for our business purpose. We can easily analyse different data and get maximum benefit from it. Their customer service is awesome. I have been using NetCrunch since 2 years and have been using in my IT infrastructure. I discovered it when looking for a monitoring tool online and we have been together since long time. With the most recent upgrades to gGrafCrunch visualization. One of the most impressive features of NetCrunch is its ability to automatically detect all devices connected to the network, which makes setup much easier, it also performs network mapping, giving us a complete view of how all devices are connected. devices on our network. This feature allows us to identify potential configuration issues and take steps to fix them before they become a bigger problem, it also alerts us to any issues that may be occurring on devices on our network. With this tool, we can receive instant notifications in case something is not working properly. This tool offers seamless implementation and management and boasts a robust network monitoring capability. It features a vast array of monitoring packs that can be automatically detected or manually added to the nodes you monitor. This gives it a competitive edge, although there are rumors that the licensing may change in the future. While we encountered some minor monitoring issues, the support team was highly responsive, providing professional and skilled assistance within the same day.		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros NEO has ability to poll modbus or any protocol out of the box. Both NEO/NAO utilize SQL backend, which after doing some digging can be quite beneficial. The cost of this DCIM tool seems to be far cheaper than others. The flexibility of the platform is a major pro for us. Our organization is able to make moves, add, and changes within the system without any technical resources being involved. The platform is simple and easy to customize. This DCIM tool has many features that we are currently using in our DCs and some features that we are in the process of implementing. I like the Asset Management part of NAO for keeping track of assets and where they are located in the DC. Excellent Inventory Management Tool in market. Tools Operating is not too complicated and user friendly. Excellent product with top notch features. It is one of the best when we talk about inventory management. Great graphic design(3D) for rack elevation view and well organized. Cons Customer support is not great, despite all the reviews I see on here. The support guys are professional and knowledgeable, but their mgmt staff and developers are not on the same page. We quite often reach out to the sales or customer support reps, and do not hear from them for months. The front end to both apps, its quite dated. Its not customizable nor is it easy to navigate if you haven't spent much time getting used to it. The SQL backend, while nice - the product does not offer good reporting out-of-the-box and customers basically need to scour the database and build their own. The two programs are not as well integrated as they advertise (NEO/NAO). Both applications are not capable of true HA, or the ability to pass traffic between each other through a load balancer, that handles certificates. It seems the SSL compatibility could use a bit more development in both apps. Deploying both these apps is a monumental task, and very clunky. One production instance in a medium sized enterprise environment may have 12+ servers supporting the two apps. The biggest con, is the amount of time it takes to do things in the app. Lots of clicking, lots of repetitive steps. The pricing structure for adding additional points and maintenance. This software is a bit difficult to implement if you do no have up to date data about your environment. If you do not have accurate asset and physical site info you need to be very detailed in obtaining it. This takes a lot of time and energy. Might be best to pay Nlyte to come in and do all that for you if you can afford it. Advanced search option could have been better otherwise I am ok with this. Default report options are not up to the mark. Probably, more customized reports can be value added service.
