Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Our company has been using AutoCAD before for more than 10 years. We found ARES Commander looking for cost savings and Perpetual licenses. Our 6 users could switch almost instantly. We liked also the ability to work on two computers or more. But most interestingly we see how year after year ARES is introducing new features for cloud, mobile and BIM that are making a big difference for us. Cons The software and the help files are in French but all the tutorial videos to learn new features are in English.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The product I great to sending duct, and pipe for fabrication. I will create fabrication pieces as you draw. Great salesmen - sold as a flawless tool - when in fact your company will become SysQue R&D department. Updates continually cause errors for things that were not part of what was supposed to be fixed. Cons Over 3 years, the product gets slower. Some issues don't get fixed. They have a plan for where they are taking the product but it doesn't line up with what the customers want. The program has the ability to update content but the updates will screw up custom user settings and then they have to be redone. We don't often see direct fixes to issues. Users are told it will be worked on for the next update so users have to deal with the issue for 2-3 months or more and manage the error themselves. Terrible execution of the product - always a problem that SysQue is aware of that never gets fixed. Operators must figure out issues on their own.... if they ever figure it out.
