Pros from Real Users Pros I used AutoCAD and DriftSight prior to ACTCAD. It was easy to learn the interface and transition over. The pdf converter is by far the best I've worked with. ACTCAD has all the good features of AutoCAD and DraftSight and none of the bad. I recently received support from Raju at ACTCAD, and I must say, the service was exceptional. Raju was prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly resolved my issue and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the solution. Highly recommend ACTCAD and their outstanding support team! Very intuitive software like AutoCAD, BricsCAD, GstarCAD. All command are the same like in AutoCAD. ActCAD is a versatile and user-friendly CAD software that stands out for its affordability and powerful features, making it an excellent choice for professionals and students alike. Looking forward for an AutocCAD Electrical alternative based on this platform. Full featured AutoCAD equivalent at a reasonable price. I needed support to move it to a newer computer and the support was excellent. For many years I have used professional CAD program which I have also used to prepare my personal drawings (Car Wiring / model railway / house extension) With retirement, I needed a decent CAD program that I could purchase outright instead of paying an annual (expensive) licence fee. ActCAD has met all my requirements & enabled me to continue updating my car wiring diagrams for Triumph TR7's which are distributed world wide under an open source licence. I liked the simplicity of interface and the size of the software itself, which helps us to run it in lower configuration PC too. It is 70% more or less like AutoCAD.		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The price is very competitive, as a 2D Cad program it does all you could want. Low price and compatibility with CAD files. Works for CAD, has some AutoCAD like features and can type commands from AutoCAD shortcuts so easy to use if had AutoCAD background. Cons Once it starts to crash, it gets worse and worse, trying to get help from 3DS is (or was,I’m my case) a complete & utter waste of time. Never even had the decency to reply, wether they could help or not. You have to assume NOT as they didn’t reply. Awful experience! The application crashes all the time and you lose unsaved work, plus the time to restart the application. Horrible technical support. No SUPPORT for paid version other than support groups. As free version, support was typical. When changed to pay only version - there is basically not support.
