80legs was founded in 2009 with the simple idea of making web data more accessible. The company first focused on providing web crawling services to a wide variety of clients. As our customer base grew, we developed a more scalable, productized platform that would empower our users to setup, design, and run their own web crawls. This philosophy of accessible web data has driven us to strengthen and increase our product offerings. In 2012, the 80legs team re-established itself as Datafiniti, a new product that provides instant access to high-quality web data, without the need for users to run their own web crawls. While Datafiniti scales to include more and more data, we continue to innovate on 80legs as well, as we strive to fulfill our mission of making web data available to everyone.
