Pros from Real Users Pros They were very quick and efficient on what I needed. Received a solution within 6 hours. I could not ask for better service! The support team contacted me within minutes of requesting help. I was helped very professionally. Overall a 5 out of 5 rating. I like home page, where you can see your business trends at a glance. Items are easily labeled for easier navigation. About the only thing I can say is the quick response from 6Storage on receiving my ticket from 6/24/2026 The transition into 6storage V3 was close to flawless with glitch resolved immediately. Pleased me to see how easy. I have been in the "mobile" storage business for 20+ years, this is my first time working in self-storage. Needless to say, I am new at working with 6 Storage and have made quite a few mistakes primarily with billing. Every time I call support, I am in a panic! The reps are always so friendly and solve the issue quickly. I really appreciate all the help they have given me. Terry (Bradley Park Storage) I was able to make the refund for our client fast and easy, and they replied back that they already received their refund. Deric was receptive, quick, and thorough. He got my problem sorted out remotely and then gave me the help I needed to take care of it my self should a similar problem come up in the future. He was patient, polite, and answered all of my questions clearly and easily. Thank you Deric! Quick support when needed Easy to use software Easy to use for our clients Looks good on our website Automations help free up time Easy to use, good interface, affordable, awesome website, great onboarding and fantastic support. We are so happy with the transition to 6storage from site link. Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I own a 200+ unit facility and switched to OpenUnit after a great demo with the owner, Taylor. The “Shopify for storage” pitch, free-for-owners model, and quick website sounded perfect. We gave it a full year. Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. The website template and built-in Stripe are nice, but everything else feels unfinished. Cons Main Issues We Ran Into • Promised “game-changing” reports never arrived — still super basic after 12 months • Auto-pay declined cards require manual re-runs every month (no bulk retry) • No multi-location or head-office reporting • Support takes 2–4 days for even simple things like transfer a person to different unit (30 seconds to do on SiteLink) • Delinquency list is full of $0 “ghost” balances; reconciliation is a mess • Reports can’t be sorted, filtered, or exported properly • Mobile phone integration doesn’t show caller ID so if you miss the call, you can’t call them back • Stripe payouts took 14–15 days at first (not the advertised 4) • Website is fast to launch but zero real SEO/PPC help despite ads claiming it • Owner went from charming to dismissive when we raised problems My bookkeeper literally laughed at their “simplified reporting” claim. The Worst Part After we canceled and switched, they’re still using our facility name and logo on their site despite REPEATED requests to remove it. Our lawyers are now taking action.
