zzbulletin is build with php, pdo, font awesome and bootstrap. It has a front-end control panel. The admin can configure zzbulletin at the main menu and create/delete anything anywhere. The goal of zzbulletin is to create a very powerful forum with many unique features.
Some preferences are automatic for you. The timezone is taken from javascript as a cookie and php reads that cookie on the next page. All buttons are created from bootstrap and font awesome not graphics. You have the option to limit how many characters that can be typed in the textarea. Currently, there is the option to select either flat or threaded display.
